CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW JOURNEY!! 👏🏼👏🏼 I recently got my nail tech license, you will do great!! Enjoy it, your school gave you a lot of things compared to what I was given. Unfortunately my school was trash, but I got through it. You will learn ALOT of really helpful things that will keep you on your toes when you go to the nail salon (I just go for a pedicure)😑😑. Can't wait to see your whole journey!!!🥰🥰

I started a few weeks ago and i was lowkey disappointed 😭 with the kit that came with it and just how they run things but i guess its not so bad i love seeing my progress 💅🏻

Yes this, most of the students in my school have prior experience and i had none like I’ve literally never touched a brush ever, but I’m really disappointed in the school I’ve learned nothing, i come home and practice on my own and some of the students show me which is crazy why am i paying 4000 to learn nothing 😅😅 also paid 500 for the supplies and a nail kit set from Amazon could’ve did a better job

In my kit we got all the pedicure stuff like scrubs and lotions and we got nail polish and top coat, we got 4 acrylics, a manicure implement kit, nail brush, buffers, files, tips, cuticle softener. That was all CND products, then the owner bought me a young nails starter kit too with 6 acrylics two monomers, file, buffer, tips,etc

👏❤️ I’m just seeing this it kind of after the fact we’re in April now and I’m watching this video! Congratulations on your nail tech school!! I hope it all goes well I’m sure, I’m sure it will and you’ll be great!!!😁 Kinda reminds me of my first day of truck driving school, when I went to get my commercial drivers license/CDL!! It was a piece of cake😁 By the way if you know anybody who would like to be a truck driver they’re in desperate need all over the US people that hold a CDL license. They need it all over in the workforce and delivery and you can get a good union jobs! Please pass the word on, thank you! To get back to the subject, won’t be long and you’ll be graduating and you’ll have your own business soon etc.!!!!!❤️💪 Thank you for recording this class if this is awesome to see live, firsthand!!

Hi Jess, please do yourself a favor and paint all your stuff in 1 particular color of gel polish. You would be surprised how easy stuff gets mixed up and how everything looks alike once it is in a nail class. I got the larger train case on Amazon while I was in school. Be prepared to spend Double or even Triple what you plan. I have not found a school yet that gives EVERYTHING you need to finish the class.

In my kit, they gave me a bookbag, nail tips, my book, files/buffers, nail polishes, nail brush i think a size 14, pedicure flip flops, a white, clear, pink powders. I believe a 1 oz. clear regular nail Polish, the basics but i think your kit was better than mine cause i didnt even get a drill or a case like yours, i got a bookbag LMAO but i get you girl 👀😉

I'm the world's biggest procrastinator also...I feel u girl lol!!! U do my own nails and family and gonna start press ons and sell them as a side hustle!!! Hey girl! Love your vlog! Your kit was lacking.. lol! Did they give you monomer but not powder??? I started school the 2nd week of February. My kit had more basic stuff but you got a nice drill! I got a cheap ass $5 drill lol. I have a video filmed on it but just need to edit it, ugh. I did end up spending hella money or just adding stuff from my own stash to my kit because the kit I got was super bare. I had to buy a rolling case but its so damn heavy taking in and out of the car but also my fault for having so much stuff. (I weighed it, its 40lbs 😭😭) Do you still have your nail area in your bedroom? How do you remove the smell of monomer?

The bandage tape is to wrap your nails if your doing a set to protect them from files / messing them up!

Tattoo artists charge the deposit for people that cancel. In my opinio, your time shouldn't be wasted especially if you set up for a certain service. Oh, and in the beginning of your video, the "thing" up there is called an exhaust fan. It helps remove moisture and those specific funky odors. Great video. You're all over the place in your video, but it's clear you're a busy girl. I can't believe you got your kit right away. I didn't get mine for at least six weeks.

Honestly I would say yes , if you want to work doing it ! But honestly it just depends where you go , but you can always teach yourself! Although you do have to be licensed!
