I'm from north Carolina I still live in north Carolina, I'm 16 young man I love duke , it's my dream school of course, you can agree with me on this Duke is like a palace , it's in one area you only in the university drive area , I live in the hood parts obviously, but if you have a car go outside of university park and explore we be litty down n Durham frfr, parties and everything but it's fun in north Carolina just have to explore you will know if it's the black parks and the white parks of north Carolina let's be real. Have you been to black wall street or any of the malls, and we have good food down here in the black parks , lol, but its fun

Hey! There are no specific ethnic learning groups but there is a club called Duke SOCA which is the Duke Caribbean student association. :)

8:48 Just a quick inquiry. Do you know how they would feel about a mixed African American? I am Mexican with African American, or Blaxican if you will. Only the thing is that I do not look mixed. I look like I came straight from Mexico.

Ayyy I'm from Houston too! I'm currently a freshman at UH and I really want to transfer to Duke because it has been my dream school for a while. I'm thinking about applying as a junior transfer. Do you know any transfer students? I know the admit rate for transfers is pretty low, but I still wanna give it a shot. What do you think?

hey!!! a Houstonian, we love to see it🙈 but I am not completely sure about the transfer rate to be honest. I only know 1 current junior that transferred from Florida, that's about it. You should definitely try and apply though :)
