The design is definitely a love it or hate it deal.

I can't believe they only produced it in NA for 6 years! The Scion XB is similar and was up for 8. The Kia Soul is still out there.

I looked into getting a Soul actually, but I really only like the 2012 refresh models and up. The quality just wasn't there in the pre-refresh models IMO. But thank you! I love my little cube!

Love it! I have a 2009 Cube. I looked at the Soul also. It wasn't as roomy, comfortable and looked pretty cheap inside.

Hey garrison, I’ve been following your channel for the past year, mostly because of your cube content, (yes I know she’s long gone.) but, I was wondering if you could give me some tips. I’m going to be getting my license this next year, and Nissan Cubes are rather cheap now, I was wondering if you would recommend this as a first car, my grandma had the same cube you had. A 2010 Krom edition Nissan cube, I’ve always thought these cars were cool, and I’ve always sought to own one myself. As hard as it is to find one with under 150k miles, especially a Krom edition that doesn’t have a bunch of rust, I would personally like to own one of these in 2024, my main question to you is do you think these are still good cars to buy in general in todays market? Most cars well, Nissans etc, all look so similar it’s boring, this car I believe was ahead of it’s time, yes it was made cheap, but have they found more loopholes and ways to cheap out cars in 2024 yes. (Sorry to Ramble on so much.) I know these have had CVT issues, because they went cheap on the transmissions, which majority are on Facebook marketplace for 1, 2, or 3k *needing transmission* the Nissan kicks, nor juke, are anything else like this car, it was sleek, asymmetrical, and modern for the last decade even tho most people, bought it as a gas saver, which is nice, I’m more interested in the design of the cube, I know it’s a long shot to even consider finding one with good mileage, the CVTS I’ve researched typically go out around 90 to 150k mile so, I’m not sure I’d love to have one of these as my first car, I’m not sure how one would go on the highway today, if it would keep up, I’d be using it as a daily commuter, as it would be my first car. My grandma says I should look for something newer, rather more reliable but, I really don’t want a car payment, and newer doesn’t always mean better, I know it’s been 10 years since you’ve had ur cube, but do u think it would still fit in todays standards as a commuter car? (Sorry for such a long paragraph, I’m really into owning one of these, but I’m not sure.) thank you. - Zach
