I love those bikes. I think it is my favorite Harley in the 2014 line for sure. They look tough straight off the showroom floor. Very nice indeed. They look great all the way around. Nice bike.
I like the bar height and the way they’re set back towards the rider. Maybe a little wide but hard to tell without sitting on the bike. I’d add a lockable rear case for helmet, holding riding gear. A nice, easy bike to ride.
Nice bike Daryl... I especially like the bars... cleans up the front end nicely and they add to the stout look of the bike. I might have to contemplate putting a pair on my Slim.
That is a beautiful machine!!! Those whitewalls are perfect. I love those T-bars and those are my favorite pipes as well! Ive been debating whether to get a fat boy or a slim. I think I've made up my mind for the slim instead.
Yep, these are the ones sold by Harley, all the cables fit and no extra parts were required. I find that cornering is much better after changing to these, and I am more in the saddle.
To each their own, Although I respect you opinion i disagree, that is whats so nice about a bike, you can customize it to your own tastes I'm really the only one who has to like it.
Hey Daryl, nice touches to your slim. I'm looking to do the same thing with the street slammer to keep that overall slammed look. Apes aren't my thing, and the decreased reach will def help back and neck pain from long rides. I'm getting conflicting in for from local HD dealers around here though. they keep telling me I have to do all the cables, plus lighting relocation kits and the final cost is coming in around 1200 to 1500. My bike has ABS. I don't know if this has any bearing. Ya have any advice? beyond that, I'm looking to do a set of blacked out Rivco LED mirrors to delete the stock indicators. sort of a SOA look. Black and clean. with minor touches of chrome. how's the ride with the lowered rear?
+Gerard Mccluskey I do not have ABS so that might make a difference, but I did not have to change out any cables or lights, my local dealer did them for me. Believe it or not my rear is not lowered.
+Gerard Mccluskey Since this video I have replaced all lights with LED's, added a quick release windshield from Memphis Shades. I have removed the Willie G Gas cap and gone with a Black cap that recesses into the tank and also replaced the fuel gauge with one that is recessed and black as well.
This might be the lowest bike harley ever put out. I'm 5'4 and this bike is almost too low for me. You will be fine. Daryl, your bike is really nice by the way. Definitely one of the cooler slims I've seen.
