I'm thinking of getting this or the Springfield but love white on this and Instead of black I will make it black chrome either way great looking bike 100x better than stock
Dennis I made all of the changes at the dealership before delivery. The cost was not cheap. All of the components are Indian products and where HD stands for 100 dollars I think Indian stands for 150 dollars. The cost of blacking out the bike was around 5 big bills.
I would have blacked out the dash surrounding the gauges and info screen too. Dont know how you can stand looking at all that white in front of you, especially when sun hits it. You can buy a black replacement dash from Indian for $500.00 too if money doesn't mean crap to you. Their accessory crap is way overpriced.
They didn't change your headers though did they? I'm still undecided about if I should go ahead with the stage two or just go with the stage one for now
I really do not have a good comparison between the two cams since I had the stage 2 cams installed upon purchase of the bike. I know comparing between the test drive chieftain and my new one that there does seem to be more torque and a deeper exhaust rumble in mine. Also, I am told that the stock 111 cubic inch motor on this chieftain with the hotter cams pushes the cubic inches up to about 116. Thanks for looking at my bike and wishing you the best of luck in your cycling endeavors.
