Just a quick update video to say I'm still here!
It’s been a while since my last vlog so this is just a little happy new year video and life update with some 2019 plans thrown in too!

Oh corrupted files are the worst 😔 congratulations on the new house🎉 I think it’s a good idea to let go of big elaborate plans, creativity comes and it’s unfortunate to feel guilty about existing plans. Happy new year!!😊

There are quite a few things that can corrupt video files but often it's a hard drive issue. If you can, get an external hard drive and store your video files on your hard drive and on the external one. When the file is downloading, if there is an interruption in the transferring it can cause a glitch in the file.

Aah! Thanks for the info! I think I’ve still got the original files on my camera. I wonder if I upload them again it’ll be glitch free? 🤔. Definitely need to look into getting an external hard drive!

@@selfassemblyrequired Yes, definitely try downloading again. When you do, make sure that nothing is plugged in or unplugged whilst downloading and try to leave the computer alone with only the necessary apps open whilst doing it. Also make sure that your computer power is surge protected. Video tends to need a very stable base for downloading because the data is more intense and larger than other downloads. When data downloads onto your hard drive is hits at random places. Another thing you can do is a data clean up using the tool that comes with your computer...Apple is disc doctor but not sure on a PC.
