Awesome spec. I saw an aventurine red in person and it looks really nice. Looks like it’s coming out a little brown on the footage due to the nice cinematic grading you use (which looked really nice with the matte black 45). I found with my Brilliant blue C43 the colour turned more of a teal when I tried using some nice cinematic colour grading. Looking forward to seeing some driving clips in this beast. Imagine you are still running the engine in?
Yeah it’s quite difficult to get the color right in pictures and videos honestly hahaha I miss the satin black of the cla45. Yep I’m still breaking it in, I have about 600 miles to go and then I’ll be driving it the right way!
appreciate this as i am in line for my build (crossing fingers for allocation this week!) How long from order to delivery? Did you know about the "performance delivery" no cost option? Just found out about that... You pay for a one way flight , they have you drive your model on a track and pay for your lodging and food for a day and then you drive your car our of there. Seems like a sweet option to get familiar with what will likely be a once in a life time experience with something this special. I went non-bucket due to wanting ventilation... i think i would appreciate the buckets, but its not an option with wifey having a say :p I'm going Frozen Potimao Blue with full Fjord Blue and carbon interior. Couldn't justify the price of exterior carbon and couldn't stop thinking about how fast it would get destroyed... Still unsure if the carbon roof is the better option (have had moon roofs on 5 cars in the past 8 years) , agree the looks of the carbon makes sense... wish the head liner was alcantara thanks again for sharing!
Nice spec man, congrats! Well worth the wait. It took about 3 months to build and get to me, so I got mine fairly quick. I did see the PCD but I was told it would delay it about a few weeks so I opted not to do it, I wish I could have.
@@yaboibakalli portimao is a "standard" individual color option on the M4 , so supposedly not a delay like non stand individuals. We will see when I go to order I suppose. Mainly want to maximize my trade in value, so hopefully we can lock that in before delivery!
Just a few clarifications. The Shadowline trim is standard on the Competition Model and an option on the base model, manual car option. So, on the base manual, it’s a free option to add it, and on the competition, it’s a free option to remove it. The manual car comes with silver tips, unless you option the Shadowline, so, what you’re saying about about the Shadowline, option, is standard on the Competition So, they’re flip flopped. Second, you have what’s called the “Extended leather” BMW confuses people by calling it extended, when it’s the base leather. The optional stitched leather, is called “Full Merino.” Nice option, getting the laser lights. It doesn’t looks bad in chrome. I changed my lasers, to Shadowline right at the last minute. I didn’t know, either. I have a few video suggestions for you, as well. Things I don’t see much of, “How to setup and use launch control” there are videos on how to set it up, but my M2 button, is setup to double click, and put you into launch control in 2 seconds. (After the 1,200 mile break on. I see you have 620 miles) Every other launch control setup video I’ve ever seen, we’re people showing you how to do it, but not showing you how to add it to the M2 button. Another video idea, is how to use automatic parking, and how to use the self reversing feature. If you put the car in reverse, there is an option that allows the car to automatically reverse out, following the same route you took parking, in case you get into a spot that you’re not sure you can get out of, the car will back itself out, using the same lines you used to pull in. Glad we dont have to have those orange blinkers here in europe, the look so bad😅 But yeah would be really nice to see some aftermarket parts being added on the car if you just want!
Hey buddy, that color REALLY shows off the contours of the car with the deep contrasts of fluctuating paint colors and highlights. @1:56 look at that hood how the light turns the hood indentations into LED's. Wow what a pop!
