My 2022 Nintendo 3DS Game Collection! | Game Recommendations & Games I've Gotten Recently 

Actually, Dream Drop Distance is included in all the kingdom hearts collections. It's part of "2.8 final chapter prologue" which is also a collection included in the all in one package

I'm so glad you also loved Fantasy Life! It is definitely my second favourite game on the system next to ACNL. Ever Oasis is also on my list to buy sometime as I've heard great things about it, Level 5 definitely make amazing games.

I would recommend Monster Hunter Stories as you fight alongside monsters from the series (in game they call them Monsties) and there’s free dlc that gives you Epona from the Legend of Zelda as well as other Zelda items (manly clothes/armour)

I recomend fantasy life and ever oasis, these games are so good, colorful graphics, nice game mechanics, and a really good story

You should try Monster Hunter Stories. It’s situated in this little village where everyone’s all about domesticating the monsters instead of using them as weapon materials. It’s a bit like Pokemon in the aspects of turn-based battles and collecting eggs to form your party, but it’s an open-world 3D space with colorful and pretty graphics. I fell a slight Zelda vibe because of that as well. If you like customizing your character, you can do that too, and of course as it’s customary with this genre of game, there’s a story and a background. My theory is that people who like the classic MH won’t like a more lightweight game like MHS, and other players that dislike classic MH will rarely realize that this title is different from the others. I happened to play the demo years ago and got absolutely hooked.

I have most of these games too and one of my personal favourites is SoS Trio of Towns. I would of course say to give it another go and give it a chance to grow on you, but of course likes and dislikes are very subjective. I started collecting for this system in 2017, so I have most of the physical games I wanted. However, with the price hike of recent weeks, I have downloaded a few games from the eShop. I check them every week because they have great sales going on before the end of the eShop.

I still play my 3DS in 2022 mostly Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Cooking Mama!

I have the digital version of Ever Oasis and I love it to this day. You have to try out the game, it is so cute! I was actually playing it yesterday

Solid list! I'm glad other people are getting back into the 3DS, it's such a treasure trove of great games. I'm trying to get into Level-5 games like Fantasy Life and Yokai Watch, and they've been so, so good. A note on your comment of Monster Hunter: As a Monster Hunter fan, it's very understandable that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate isn't your type of game. Monster Hunter to this day is infamous for not easing new players into the game well, and in this one, there really is no story to it and is particularly more difficult to get into. However if it helps, if you're still interested, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has a far better story. It's definitely not the best story, but it does give a more tangible goal than just kill bad monster. It's also arguably the most accessible game to new players versus the other 3DS Monster Hunter games. It's the type of game where the story doesn't hook, but rather it's your own journey of becoming a better player. A monster may seem undefeatable at first, but with time and effort, you get better knowing your weapon and reading the monster's moves, and eventually defeat the undefeatable. Seeing that progress in yourself is what makes Monster Hunter so addicting for others who love the series. Hopefully you might give it another shot, but no big deal if it's not for you!

That’s a great collection. Also just wanna add (if someone hasn’t already), Dream Drop Distance is playable in KH 2.8 and all other bundles. I highly recommend playing it if you haven’t already, especially on the PS5

My suggestion before the eshop closes, if you have the space, download any updates for games you think you might want to get later on, because nothing will be worse than paying 80-100 for a game just to find out its unplayable because of a game breaking bug that was patched out, but you can't download anymore. As well as if there are any games with dlc that you're interested in get those games and those dlc first as once the eshop closes those dlc will be unavailable.

It's nice to see someone saying fantasy life is there favorite game and I love this game it's my 2nd favorite games in 3DS. 1st is all monster hunter series.

Some recomendatioons are : Professor Layton Miracle mask Professor Layton Azran Legacy Phoenix wright Vs Professor Layton These 3 if you are into point and click adventures/visual novels (you will love them) Also Sega 3d classic collection Luigi mansion (The original) Monster Hunter 4 ultimate as it has much deeper story mode And many more for all gaming genres

Awesome collection, 3ds is one of my most loved systems. That new 3ds xl looks great, my favourite one is the regular new 3ds because you can change the cover plates, some of them are really cool, keep and eye out if you can ever get one cheap. Can't wait to see more videos keep up the good work:)

I prefer new leaf to new horizons in many ways. Cozy grove is great if you haven't tried it yet. Rune factory 2 doesn't really get started until you're playing as your child. I agree about monster hunter but love the stories spinoff on 3ds and switch. You would probably enjoy the Disney magical world games too. The 2nd one was ported to switch.

I use the 3D feature all the time. But I have the New 3DS. Its amazing. It still blows my mind! Lol but depending on the game or what I'm doing I will definitely adjust the slider.

I undestand the collector side of getting all the physical games (I have quite a collection across all platforms) but when it comes to just playing the games...wouldn't a less 'conventional' way of obtaining them be more appropriate, especially with the really hard to get games?

i have a good amount ngl most are game cards with my DS cases. i have DS and 3DS games. I have all the Style Savvy games bcuz i love them. I have tomodachi life and miitopia, almost every aniaml crossing game, but i have both ds and 3ds of those, i have donkey kong and kirby, asphalt 3D, and more i cant think of rn. i have some downloaded like nintendogs+cats, and 2 of the style savvy games and tomodachi life LOL but yeah i *LOVE* the 3DS favorite console!!

Please be aware with the first Persona Q certain copies of the game just stop working and its a common issue. I'm telling you this so you can get it from the eshop for backup before it closes down.

My first two 3DS games were Kid Icarus Uprising and Kingdom Hearts 3D, I played them quite a lot specially Kid Icarus because of the online battles. It's so simple but I like what you did with your AR cards.

I stopped buying 3DS games after 2019. I only get video games in November & December.

Make sure you check to see if your Persona Q cart works. Some don't work on the 3DS. My copy didn't work and I had to download it from eShop. If you like Persona you should try the SMT games and Radiant Historia.

I would hate to burst you bubble, but the NEW Nintendo 3DS XL has a paint chipping problem. The smudges are the least of your problems... I know this because I owned and played mine since 2015. However, besides that, the console plays like a dream! I love the 3D on this beast!

Good editing in this video! Also I know you said you weren't a huge fan of horror games, but Resident Evil Revelations is a really solid title for the system that is worth a try. Especially if you've never really played any other Resident Evil games.

I do not own a 3ds, it was the one Nintendo handheld that I miss out on. I borrow my brother and started a collection. I have all the Pokémon besides the normal moon. And manora mask. I want to get the other Zelda since games since I hear that they are easier. I want to get a 3ds but for a good price.

Nice collection you have there. Surprised I don't own any of those 3DS games you mentioned. You should check out Bravely Default, Fire Emblem Awakening and Dragon Quest VIII - those a god tier in the world of 3DS JRPGs. And it's interesting you have a kettle next to your monitor too lol

KH Dream Drop Distance is fun for the monster raising half, but in my honest opinion only half the story (Riku's side) is better then the other half (Sora's). Found it half fun/half frustrating plot-wise. XD Trio of Towns is MUCH better then Two Towns, but it's also understandable as Two Towns was originally a DS title and Trio of Towns is the last 3DS game they produced, so added onto from the previous Story of Seasons series. Just FYI, Trio adds more content the more you play. I also picked up Popolo Crois (digitally only) as it looks very cute, but haven't played just yet~ You can NEVER go wrong with Zelda games, even with the less popular batch. Majora's Mask 3D is my all time favorite, and the graphic improvements on OoT is just... Really well appreciated. All those extra little touches to make houses more lived in, posters on the walls, etc etc. I love it so much??? And A Link Between Worlds is a game I thought I wouldn't like as it's based on A Link To the Past, and I'm not that big of a fan of it... But Between Worlds is surprisingly a very fun game~! =3 Regarding Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate... I originally played MH Tri on Wii, and didn't enjoy it despite my friend's recommendation, but when I picked up 3 Ultimate on 3DS, I actually enjoyed the game play a lot more there. However, when I was just getting into it, literally just beat the bear at the beginning half (it was on sale when I picked it up), 4 Ultimate just got announced and I had a MUCH better experience with that one as my friend group actually got on board and we all played together. Also had an actual story that 3 lacked. XD TLDR: Hunting monsters in a party with friends (local or via group chat) is a much better experience. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon gets some hate for not being the first Luigi's Mansion, but Dark Moon is so much fun~! Luigi is so charmingly cute, hilarious, and I like the bite-sized missions. Yo-Kai Watch 2 is my absolute favorite 3DS game on the system, from the Jade Cocoon 2-esk battle wheel and Digimon/Shin Megami Tensei fusion/monster raising aspects, plus the youkai/ghost/mythology of each monster is very enjoyable to me, who enjoys mythology. =3 The humor in 2 also really increases compared to 1, a lot of upgrades. Fantasy Life is another game I just recently picked up (digital only), I've heard so many good things about it, I'm very excited to dig my fangs into it~ Ever Oasis is a game I've picked up the day it came out, but... Also haven't touched it. D= It looks so nice, I really need to make time for it, ugh!

Since you got Luigi‘s mansion dark moon, you need to get Louie‘s Mansion, so in order on the da is, Luigis mansion, and then Luigis mansion dark moon, then the 3rd one goes on the switch, Luigis mansion 3, u will love Luigis mansion dark moon, it was absolutely fun to play🥰, I have all 3, I may be late in getting games but I just got Luigis mansion 3 for Christmas last year, I love playing on my 2dsXL I do have a lot of games on my wish list lol, but I’ll get there, n some of the games you mentioned imma put on my wish list🥰

A little piece of advice about the harvest moon game, tale of two towns is kinda boring. There's not much in it. If you want something with more stuff to do you're better off choosing a different game.
