This is why my best advice to those of you who want to become pro wrestlers. Look for a pro wrestling school first do not straight shoot for the WWE because you will not be prepared for the tryouts. If you just go there with no experience, you will have a harder time try out for a wrestling school. Learn some wrestling moves learn the techniques, the etiquette, etc. so that you are well prepared
Dude wwe themselves look for highschool athletes knowingly they won't find anyone with prior experience. They purposely scout high school athletes. Your comment could NOT be further away from the truth. I have a friend of mine who attended these tryouts and according to her, it was push ups, crunches, sit ups, ect. Nothing to do with actual wrestling. They had promo days and were required to have a gear/costume and present some sort of a character.
They're putting you through that through all those drills just to test you it's really about your personality and how well you talk that's what they care about more than Anything is your ability to communicate
Randy, you are WRONG. WWE scouts talents and can invite you to a tryout. Or you can get a try out via their high school program (Dani Palmer, Sol Ruca, Kelani Jordan), an agent (Maxxine Dupri) or if you are persistent enough and you submit a hundred times from their recruitment page on their official website. In the past fcw days i know that indie wrestlers had to pay 5k for them to attend a try out and get judged. AJ Lee and Byron Saxton got in this way.
How many squats do they have you do per set? And how many pushups per set do they expect? How many situps do they expect in a set? Did you hear anything about the max age they would possibly consider? Like would they consider someone in their early 40s that would likely have a shorter career? Do they give a setup scenario for promo practice if you come up with your own character, or do they just give you a character and you have to find a way to cut a promo for that type of character in a short time?
I like the character. A country guy hasn’t been done by a bigger black guy on WWE so it’s more unique. The name Big Country could Work but I like the idea of you bro known at Leo “Big Country” Williams.
size dont mean nothing they are looking for entertainers people thats good with the mic acting skills and personality it is easy its just your weight sir for people my size im 204 and very athletic you got to lose some weight sir and you might make the WWE
I’m a little bit late to this video but as a female I do want to be a pro wrestler and try out for the WWE I definitely feel as though they missed out on a great character such as you because you’re funny even when you’re just talking like a normal person but this video has literally been the most helpful video out of all of them that I seen on the Internet, and I greatly appreciate for you sitting down and addressing this and letting people know these things
The fact that you’re a football player saying this is telling. It’s making me think, I can do this. I don’t believe this training would be harder then football. We’ll have to see.
I was goin say I hope you get it but I told you that on social media and I’m a lot late on this post lol but I wish you got it would’ve love to see you in WWE and made it and be world champion but I’m still proud of you and I’m glad you did it and you didn’t give up man much love and light to you King better for you is on the horizon💪🏽💯👑 and who knows WWE may hit you back and call you up you never know✌🏽
Hey man I'm training at Jackson Wink on the pro mma team and currently applied for WWE tryouts. Can you help me out if they contact me? Are they interested in smaller guys like 200 pounds?
You got the look and the builded and I'm sure that you got talent brother. I do hope you'll make it in WWE. At the age of 6 or 8 always wanted to be a wrestler I'm 23 now still wanted to chase my dream. I can tell its not easy gives me military vibes but I'm all up fort it.
How long after you applied did you hear something back? How did it go? you got the look for it! I was trained by Gangrel so I kinda name dropped but I'm 6'7" 230lbs. It's been a week and a half since I applied

I'll send a message you on your handles!! ❤️👊🏿🙏🏿

I hope to be like u one day because I’m in highschool but after I’m done with college I wanna really Perdue my dream and really give them something different and become a superstar myself hopefully 🤞🏾 but good job big bro🔥
Hey bud proud of you and your journey can't wait to see you on TV For characters do they give you an outline of they want? When you got the invitation how long was the wait form the invitation to the tryout? What cardio in the average gym would you recommend to do?
You can apply via their website page. However i think he's a college athlete. Wwe is currently scouting college grads and even has the NIL program. I know a few girls who got contacted via Instagram by their recruits. But also if you have a manager or an agent if they know somebody they can arrange for you to be a part of a try out. This was the case with Maxine Dupri
@@brandoncouch5170 They didn’t even let tryout because of reasons. They invited me to comeback because they liked my promos. Idgaf though I’m over the WWE.
I’m planning on trying out for wwe after college and I already started planning out my gimmick and I’m planning on it being something similar to bray Wyatt I hope to work with you someday
Your first mistake is planning on making a gimmick similar to another wrestler. They do not want to see something that they have already seen before. Try to make something your own unique character because if they see that you’re making it similar to somebody else’s they’re not gonna pick you another piece of advice that I could give you is try out for a wrestling school first before even going to try out for WWE becauseyou will learn a lot more wrestling etiquette movements etc. that will help you a lot but when you get to the WWE so the basics you already have down so that when you get to tryouts there it’ll be a lot easier
@@exclusiveeasia8717 yes and thanks brother, I have thought about it a lot and decided my story and character will be based off the movie “Venom” and the story will be about how pain and anger turns be into a monster and I will use the venom monster like Finn Balor’s demon alter ego which is bringing my venom alter ego out for my matches but instead of face paint and body paint I will do a inspired venom gear and mask but make it look scary and sinister and I have me concept for it down in my notebook and stuff and I will pitch it to the WWE after the tryout which will be something new
2:31.. it's not even about that at all man in regards to WWE they're just putting you through that just to test you they love to rib people.. That WHOLE "tryout"is a rib
