What a fun list! Europe at Christmas would be so beautiful with all the decorations. A lot of people here go to Vegas on actual Christmas since everything is open. It can be an unhappy time of year do what you need to bring cheer! :)

I feel your trench coat pain! I can’t do warm colours either. When ‘getting your colours done’ was a thing, I was diagnosed as a winter. I can do stone or taupe but not honey or camel. I look ill. This excludes a lot of trenches and coats. We’ve went to Prague the week before Christmas. The markets aren’t a patch on the German cities (we love Berlin) but the lights are magical and it’s very Christmassy (even I felt it, and I’m no fan of Christmas). We loved Prague even though it’s very busy and very touristy.

Big European cities in December are magical ✨ - love London for that and of course I can recommend the German Christmas Markets🎄.I hope you will make it and have a great time ! I particularly share two of your intentions: 1. carry more of my bags - this isn`t always easy as I work from home most of the time and if I travel for work I have to carry my laptop. 2. more domestic trips and seeing more friends, really want to make a bigger effort and be better with connecting with people I don`t meet on a regular basis.

I’m an ear piercing freak! I would absolutely do a tragus piercing. I waited so long to do it and it was not painful and healed so quickly!

Great wishlist! I wish you success in finding your wishlist items! I am endeavoring to stick to 4 handbags this year- unless I sell some. So we are on January 2, and I already purchased a navy blue Chanel Golden class WOC(thank you for the advice!) And an original edition (2014)black and silver LV GO 14. I have my eye on one more Chanel, and then I am going to very much try to wait until September to find the last one in Italy. 🙏prayers that I make it!😬

I totally agree about using more bags. I don’t have as large a collection as you (currently about 40), but want to use them all. I saw a recommendation to note in your calendar when you use a bag, so I’m going to try to do that as well as switch at least every few days. ❤

I always used a small crossbody bag and a tote with my computer and all other things that I needed. Why should I just use one bag?I love two att a time 🤣

When I finally make my career change I’m contemplating a JUC from Cartier as the proverbial nail in the coffin in the old life … but I also like the Dior Gem, although I’m worried it might scratch other pieces if stacked … so I guess, summary would be maybe a jewellery piece this year! If I can resist elsewhere though 😂😊 I feel there’s a Dior bar jacket in my future soon

HI Dayle, is that silver Peekaboo not a medium? It's very similar in concept to the white, but it's dazzling. Considering you're in a subtropical climate I would think white is a no-brainer. It's also being used as a winter bag but 'winter white' has a tinge of blue in it. This makes it icy-looking and almost shimmer. I love this shade but nearly impossible to source from inside Australia it's likely to be in NYC or London or a Scandinavian country. [Edit: just realised that 'winter white' is being used differently these days. They are referring to the fact of wearing white in winter, and that white is often with a cream tone. That's not right! It's not defining the colour. But it is typical of the battles I find myself- rather pointlessly - in. Dayle I assure you that 'winter white' was once a defined colour with a slightly blue edge, rather than a yellow edge; it's intense and not the same as summer whites. I can't even find an example from a google searches it's like our memories are being constantly wiped with updates. Anyway a few thoughts from my googling: During Elizabethan times there were laws called the "Sumptuary Laws" which dictated who could wear the color white. Queen Elizabeth I wore white. "People who were allowed to wear the color white during the Elizabethan era, as decreed by the English Sumptuary Laws, were lower and upper classes"; apparently, the rich wore a pristine white which was difficult to produce and keep clean, while the poor could wear "the natural, cheap, off-white color of wool ". I will just say... patent leather may be harder wearing, but they are HARD. I have so many Ferragamo patent shoes, and whilst i love them, oh boy, they can be a bitch to wear in ..... just try them on first! great list !

I have a Burberry Islington trench and while it was a wishlist item and I love wearing it, I wasn't prepared for how delicate the fabric is. It stains so easily, it goes to the dry cleaner at least twice a year. 🙄

After my experience in the Burberry Flagship in NYC, I ill never buy anything from them again, however I agree. The stone is superior. The honey is too yellow and somehow looks dirty... if you get what I mean. Oh man now I'm hunting the yang of your perfume...

I really hope you find a trench this year Dayle (extra good luck wishes on it for properly pronouncing Fornasetti*) One small thing: "Selleria" is the sewing method not the material, if a Fendi item has very obvious stitching (cream colored thread pre 2020 or cream colored thin rope between 2020 - 2022 regardless of the color or material of the item, or self colored thin leather strips post spring '23) then it is a selleria item, it can be in all of the visible seam lines of the item or just around the hardware, some RTW also enters in this category and while SLGs are also made in Selleria I believe only the bags come with a plaque :) I left a companion comment about Selleria in Meredith's Baguette collection Collectionmas video if anyone cares *have you talked to Meredith about how she says it?
