My 2024 Video Settings - Best Quality & Performance | Warframe 

Hey thanks for this video, i was one of the people that asked you to make an updated version a while ago. Warning this is gonna be a long comment! So i feel like im just like you, since you hinted that you test different settings for hours on end like a maniac, thats exactly what i do in warframe. on 1080p, no matter what you do, the anti-aliasing is absolutely horrible and i have been looking for a fix so long, if the nvidia control panel had a mastery rank, id be LR4. i tried so much stuff id be insane to list it all here, but what i came up with in the end was basically overriding every possible feature in the control panel to try to kind of salvage the AA. it kinda worked but it also had alot of downsides, like losing alot on performance and also making the image increasingly blurry. Ill tell you i have seen every warframe settings guides on this entire plattform, and this is the only one that is not complete bullshit. So i agree with pretty much everything you said, especially that TAA is so ugly that it actively hurts my eyes. I went ahead and copied your settings 1:1, apart from irrelevant stuff like Depth of Field which i dont like, and gpu particles which i find annoying. And i have to say it does look really nice, i got alot of clarity back and the aliasing is not too bad, allthough still not perfect but thats on warframe. Well see how long ill keep these settings until something minute annoys me so much i have to change everything again, thanks for that. I also want to add that in the current version of the game, the Volumetric Fog Quality - high is bugged, i genuinely go from 223 fps capped to 100 with it turned on high. for now it should be set to medium (as steve said in the latest 15 minute devstream) As a thanks for your great guide i offer you another settings tip, not visual quality related, but motion smoothnes. i noticed that you use Gsync on + Vsync on in the nvidia control panel, which is good, but to take full advantage of Gsync you need to cap your framerate to something lower than your monitors refresh rate, as frame caps are not perfect and when your fps exceed your refresh rate Gsync stops working. generally refresh rate -3fps is recommended, but there is evídence that capping your framerate even lower can ironically actually decrease input latency and increase smoothness, since the gsync/freesync module in the monitor has a latency in itself. Longer explanation here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1OQjqWOm1uA.html So you have two options: 1: Gsync on + Vsync on(control panel) + Low latency mode off + frame cap of 162 at 165hz + Ingame Vsync and framecap off 2: Gsync on + Vsync on(control panel) + Low latency mode off + frame cap of 156 at 165hz + Ingame Vsync and framecap off I guarantee youll see a difference in smoothness if you try these :)

Really nice guide. Helped a lot in understanding specifically what some things do. The big change I made was changing my brightness and contrast from 100/100 to 50/50. It sort of balances out either way...but your way just looks better.

I recently started playing Warframe again and was wondering why my Clan and Alliance symbols had looked so dull. Thanks to this video i see where the problem was. For some reason i had Color Blind Filter Strength at 100 and Visual Effects Intensity at 0.

DLSS uses dlaa not taa. If an option is greyed out it means it's not used.

tip, if your monitor resolution is 1440p or more, then fsr quality or dlss quality are much better than taa or smaa

I've had and still have this issue when I enter a certain room it all gets foggy. Like you know the section of the quest right after the year 1999 part when the glasses guy puts you defend the area or smth, and there's a small corridor leading to the enemies, eh when I step foot past there it becomes ugly, and I just have Fog disabled, who knows the cause be blessed.

Just redownload the game and trying to optimize, but I notice I got the same amounts of platinum as you, 1176 😅

To test TAA vs SMAA, just click "Show Profile". Just a quick glace at your warframe and your operator, you can see how bad TAA is.

@Brebdzun my performance management mode only says Max and normal so is it better to use normal for now?

The only thing I adjust is bloom intensity 😭

putting SSAO quality from medium to high takes 30 FPS for me on 2070 Super I7 10700k. Not sure but this might be a bug.

Every time I move my mouse , the screen gets blurry . It’s really annoying . I’ve tinkered with every setting possible to no avail .
