My 30s as a Minimalist: Life Lessons Learned 

I’m 51 and you know more than I did at your age. You are not a failure. And you are right , “this too shall pass “. Everything good and bad is temporary. I’ve been watching you for years since your apartment days. I love you and your channel. I love your simplicity and transparency. I love that you don’t have the “latest” etc etc. You are a beautiful soul from the inside to the outside, literally. You are an old soul and I appreciate you. You are correct Kyra appreciating the small wins/ things keeps us centered as it’s the little things that bring much joy. Financially , it’s not a bad move to look for additional income while hoping you can keep your utube as a side hustle because you provide such authentic content. Perhaps finding a happy balance between both options would bring about that financial stability you are looking . I’m sure things will fall into place for you just keep moving forward one day at a time while embracing your circle of support and being kind to yourself as you navigate this period of exciting change.

I love how your videos always have the sitting down chatting with a friend vibe. It’s cozy and very relaxing. I can definitely relate to a lot of what you said in this video. I am still learning things everyday as I approach my 40s. You have definitely helped me with saving money and because of your wonderful advice, I had enough money saved to afford to pay for some major repairs that were needed on my car. Kyra you have to have to keep receipts in the event of an audit. The credit card statement may not be sufficient for the expenses. I use Google drive and a pdf scanner to save and organize all receipts. I'm glad your getting the write off girl!

Almost turning 31 in August, I’d have to say I’ve learn quite a bit after turning 30. I like to keep things private as well, not posting everyday things on IG stories, I am more into cooking homemade meals and learning how to cook from scratch, I also got into YUKA so my husband and I scan everythingggggg lol 😆 I learn not to be mad at people either and life’s too short to hold grudges or go to sleep mad. I’m still learning everyday about myself and I love 30 year old me compared to 20 year old partying clubbing me 😂

I wonder if you would like working at Wegmans? My neighbor worked in the bulk candy and nuts section stocking bins. She recently retired. Also, maybe online work from home? I remember you were good at your previous job in the nursing home. Always listen to yourself and do what is best for you. And always check on important information yourself. People often don't give correct answers to information. Especially when it is important. I believe you are doing well at this point. We all have setbacks. 🌻

Hey Kyra! I’m a bookkeeper and wanted to let you know you absolutely need to keep your receipts for tax purposes! If you don’t want paper clutter just take a photo but credit card statements are not enough documentation for expense tracking. Just wanted to share that info for you! If you get audited, they want proof of what you bought!

Look into course careers. They train you and get you college jobs without the degree.

When you make money invest so that ur money makes money passivley! ❤

Kyra have you thought about starting a freelance minimal, all natural cleaning and organization company. A lot of people look for someone to come in once a week or once every other week to tidy up and keep the house clean. You are so good at those things and I think it would be a job you enjoy where you can still work for yourself but bring in some extra money. You could use all the cleaning products you already use. Think about it 😊❤

I believe that its increasingly more difficult nowadays to be solely a full time youtuber. From what content creators are all saying. Even in the regular world its impossible to make ends meet on one job. I work as a prek assistant during the school year, and nanny and babysit on the side. Now that school is out for summer, I collect unemployment, p!us I'm nannying for a family too. I've pretty much been working 2 jobs my whole life. Same situation...... One job just doesn't pay enough.

You could try freelancing and editing videos since you’ve been doing RU-vid for so long
