While this is cool, it's just that the planet is lost inside of the image. The back light makes it too transparent. The rings especially. It makes that corner look a bit muddy. Maybe less red and added in a cool cooler color in that multiverse vortex to create some contrast because it's very bright. What would happen if you concentrated that back light to be more in the center while getting darker along the edges. Heck, I would like to see one of these with the light source being off center and contained just to see what cool shadowy effects that could be made.

I feel like the vortex itself, too, still just looks more like a sketch and that it could have used a bit more to tie all the aspects of the piece together - like maybe stars to tie in the planet and rubble to tie in the buildings. I mean, at any rate it's better than anything I could have done and is fantastic, but it definitely feels rushed which is a shame.

@cirtoajeteodor
@cirtoajeteodor 2 года назад
@@krischezockt1916 I get that too. But a bigger team, a bigger studio and everything in-between means bigger costs, if a more "well done" video for those extra details would have gotten him double the views on one video, so him not posting another video instead of those extra details, wouldn't mean less views, sure. But realistically speaking, it wouldn't work like that, and even I as a viewer and a fan, I could not justify him losing money that don't go only to him now, but the whole team, for a few extra details, when already I fear he's gonna get burned out.

Jazza! I haven't finished the video yet, and am excited to see how it turns out - BUT I just thought of something you may really like to try... As a scenic artist, a few years back I did a scenic painting retreat where we painted backdrops that were translucent - where you could paint one scene on the front and another on the back using special painting techniques - and when you front lit it, or back lit it, the scene would change! (My assignment was to create a hawaii scene in daylight and sunset and it was awesome). I believe if you look up scenic translucent backdrop you'll find information on how to make it. I know you're also a theatre kid at heart, and I think you'd love this!!!

I feel like every video he's made in the last 3 months has been an ad for his pro pack thing. It's getting super annoying even though I actually bought the pack before Christmas. Like yes we get it, you've been jamming it down our throats for literally 6 months now. Enough will the self promotion. It's just weird that he's pushing it so hard. Like did he not make as much money as he wanted? @@HilariousHooper44 yeah its deffinately odd how much hes pushing, ive noticed that too. Hes pribably struggling alittle bit to maintain a constant income between his what 3 youtube channels? I THINK hes feeling the effects of prices rising because they are rising all over the world on everything, and hes trying to compensate so he can continue to live normally, which i dont blame him for at all, were all doing the same, wed love to make more and work less when things get harder. You could also try layering some acrylic resin on top of a layer when you are done with it to bond it to the next layer above, that way light isn't meeting resistance in the change of refraction between the layers. It doesn't seem like a lot to our eye, but every time there is a material change, the refractive index of the material bends the light passing through, scattering it and making it more murky.

This is so awesome, I'd love to see more 3D art like this. If this is what Jazza can make in one day, I'd love to see what he can make if he takes more time

Hello, on the off chance that anyone sees this (including you) I'm a model painter but one thing i always have problems with are weathering and blending, making the metal look worn but not having the wear lines too thick- if anyone has any tips please tell me, thank you! also great video, keep up the awesome work!

I'd love to see you do this digitally! :D The app "Mental Canvas" looks amazing to build and actually navigate through the layers of art!!

Awesome! The same thing but with resin would be really really cool too. Maybe even better! The depth you get with resin surpasses anything you can do with paper.

I absolutely LOVE how you even made Doctor Strange 3D as well, the simple touch with the cape and hand makes the piece pop out even more!

This was really great to watch Jazza. It also inspired me to test out some art project contraption idea I have had in the back of my head for quite awhile.

This idea was first done by Disney Studios and it was called a Multiplane camera and they first used it in the animated feature film Snow White. I made my thesis artwork based on that principle but that was back in 1993. You can't put the layers too far from each other because each layer will become smaller due to perspective---unless you make the layers bigger as it goes further. My other problem was lighting and then how to display them in an interior since the tool was primarily to create an effect for an animated movie. But you've made it possible to be displayed at home, so kudos to you :)

Wow, the outcome was awesome! So much effort was put into this, next thing you know jazza makes a whole room of these acrylic pieces because he’s so obsessed with these.

Amazing. A little bit of edge lighting and some laser etching on that acrylic would really take that to the next level. (maybe just some runes or something floating in the background)

And this was what I mentioned in my last comment! More spaces between the clear panels! Not too shabby! Well done!

Just thought of something. It’d be really cool if you could do an illusion piece where if you look into the box from different angles it looks like there’s a whole world in there. I have no idea how it could be done but it’d seem really cool 😂

Looks very cool, and easier and lighter than resin, plus you could change it out by changing a layer

The fun part is that this is the technique that Disney actually used for Snow White and the seven dwarfs. They painted on sheets of glass and stacked them and hung a camera from the top. They would zoom in the camera and take layers of glass away for shots. The scenes with the camera going threw trees and zooming into the castle or into Snow White are the clear and best examples of the technique. Snow White is one of the first animated movies that I watched and could tell it was hand drawn. It’s the one that got my art obsession started.
