Today, I will be changing the oil in my 2020 Ford Explorer ST. The Explorer ST has a 3.0 Ecoboost engine, so this video may help some that have other vehicles with the same engine. The oil I choose to use is 6 qts of Royal Purple 5w-30. I choose to use an OEM Motorcraft filter FL-2062-A (link below) and a UPR products billet oil drain plug 3025-02 (link below)

@@streetslayers410 no sir. Their hps is still ok. They dropped Synerlec from the basic shelf offerings, kept the price and claims the same. Synerlec additive its what made it good oil. Ive seen Blackstone reports where supertech has scored better than the basic one.

Catch cans are mandatory in these cars, tons of blow by. Most of these videos also show the factory recommended 6 quarts for an oil change. However they actually take about 6.4-6.5 quarts. Confirmed by 2 different dealers and a performance shop as well as my own experience with it.
