Thanks for checking out this episode! I'm doing something new here, talking about my 5 watch rotation.
Please note, I am aware that there is an audio issue and I am working on it. At this time I do not know what is causing it as I'm using the same equipment - setup I've always used. I hope it doesn't cause you too much of an issue while watching. Thanks.

Seiko 6139 Turtle (1986)
Hamilton Field Khaki Auto 38mm (2018)
Steinhart Ocean Explorer 39mm (2020)
Seiko SBDC101 - SPB143 (2020)

Great collection...totally agree on your findings regards size...people seem really crazy these days and even find 39 or 40 mm small...strange world. 36 mm oyster cased watches, especially with the light weight older design bracelets, are as comfortable as it gets.

Lovely collecton. I too have the Steinhart, i have the Plexi Version & like Yrs, mine is PinPoint Accurate. I also have The Explorer, but mine is the Previous Iteration, The 14270 with the 3000 Movement. If i wear it for more than 10 hrs daily & put it on the NightStand, dial-down-crown-right it gains half a second per-day. I've owned it 8 Yrs now & worn Th' BeeJeezis out of it & it has scratched-up Nicely like any Good Rolex toolwatch! As for my Divers? MONSTAAAAAA!!!!

Have you seen the Seiko SPB317? People are calling it the “Slim Turtle.” I think it has a bit more mojo than the 62 MAS reinterpretation.

thanks for sharing your collection, very nice. i too have a steinhart and i really like that watch, mine is the green ceramic ocean one. the funny thing is it actually came out before rolex introduced their "cermit" so which is the homage?

Any experience taking the Hamilton in the ocean or pool? 100m of water resistance but no screw down crown bothersome ?

Thanks, it apparently has the high frequency noise issue, I'm trying to sort it out and reload. I've no idea what's causing it, my setup is exactly the same as it's always been. Frustrating.
