there's nothing wrong with minimalism. obviously not an influencer, but I can say that my brain is incredibly busy with pointless thoughts, so having a space you might consider boring helps a lot with slowing those thoughts down
My entire life I’ve tried being a morning person, and I’ve made peace with the fact that I’m not and never will be. I study from 5pm-11pm and honestly I’m so much happier with that schedule and look forward to going to uni more now.
Recently i started to wake up really early, about 5am, and maximum to 9am and i realized how much i loved and how refreshing mornings are. At the same time i also love late nights because then it’s when i feel the most productive. So in the end, it’s just the middle of the day that’s my least favorite, because then everyone is awake and the world is loud and overwhelming.
Im doing my first year of college and honestly im really looking to you for my academic inspiration and motivation. You really inspire me to work hard and take care of myself and i hope you have a good senior year!
i used to always get up really really early in my second year of university back in 2019 and i LOVED how it made me feel, but since the pandemic my entire life and routine just got so messed around that i never got back into it... but this video has inspired me just a little bit to make another attempt at early mornings as i start my master's studies this autumn✨️
Your routine videos are always so incredibly helpful for my lil adhd anxiety brain to breakdown tasks and give time limits to things realisticly. Also theyre alway so beautifully shot and aesthetically pleasing. Just wanted to say thank you because you videos have made such a positive impact on my mental health.
super random but instant oatmeal tip: instead of getting instant oat meal packets (i couldnt quite see what you were using in the video but it looked something like that?) you can buy porridge oats in bulk, all you have to add is equal quantity oats, milk and water, then put it in the microwave (i cant remember specific timings but maybe about 30 seconds? then stir and put it back in). its just as convenient as instant oatmeal but much cheaper, healthier and you can put whatever you want in it! (my fav is adding chunks of apple and some cinnamon and walnuts ommggg it's so good) i'd also recommend overnight oats since as long as you remember to do it the night before it's literally instant and super duper easy in the mornings. and you don't have to make them super fancy or anything, just add some milk to some oats, add in random nuts and seeds of your choice and then wack it in the fridge. it takes me like a minute maximum and is super easy in the mornings. sorry for this random unsolicited breakfast advice, hope it's helpful!! ❤️
i think the EXACT same thing when i hear people talk about wrinkles being beautiful and then immediately turn around and talk about all the products they use to prevent themselves from getting wrinkles. like girl do you think they're ugly or not 😭
She's just trying not to suffer the "early aging" effect of sun exposure. Wrinkles will come naturally with age, we don't need help from stress and UV skin damage to get them. 😂 Wear your sun block y'all.
There is something about all the suncreen talk i wonder about, on all the packaging it always says to reaply after around two hours but all the influencers put on their suncreen + makeup and then go about their day but never reaply. So does their sunscreen usage actually do anything at all? Especially when they apply it in the morning and then go inside to work for around 8 hours and then go out into the sun (wow i typed alot lol)
the way my routine is similar to you linh. but in the end of the day it just feels like i didn’t do much having something inside you..i felt this guilty of not doing much everyday but thanks to you i started appreciating myself and life..the past weeks were hard i lost my cat but it’s okay i had to accept it eventually and i did. always grateful to have you and thanks for the upload again..whenever i see you ik it’s the person who saved me lots of love
I love your journey as a student, you remind me when I was 18 and so excited for uni life, holding my camera , my things everyday to go to the classes. If technologies go back centuries I will reveal all my films that I saved in a box and reveal this unforgettable life. By the way your hair cut is astonishing I am thinking to cut like this you resemble like K-pop animations , I am in love with it. ❤
Your realistic and productive 5 AM morning routine as a college student is truly a beacon of inspiration, reminding me of the invaluable teachings I received from Lisa Haisha during her retreat in the Philippines. Just as Lisa guided me to find purpose in each moment, your commitment to early mornings and productivity is a testament to the transformative power of routine. Both you and Lisa are my guiding lights, inspiring me on the path to greatness
it's my first week back for fall as well and i've been taking care of my dogs (who wake up at 7-7:30) at the same time and man i'm exhausted (i usually get up at 8:30-9:30). but on the other hand, there's been something so nice about walking the dogs in the morning light, enjoying the quiet solitude with my family members gone for the week, and getting twice as much done in a given day. somehow you always manage to make content relevant to my life!
I have watched you since middle school and I am a freshman in college this year and I want to say thank you for your content, it has been so inspiring and encouraging.
I'm starting university this year so I'm moving out at the age of 17 and your video really comforted me & reminded me that living alone can (and probably will) be a positive experience for me 🫶 ty
your videos like always are super calming! i’m currently taking a semester off (and very likely will be changing courses for a 2nd time), but i’ve been trying to take some time for myself that isn’t just doom-scrolling lately! i recently finished reading the first mermaid saga book, and i’m also finally getting around to reading one last stop! along with hanging out with friends a bit more in between work and personal music stuff!!
Hello Linh, i was also the " will always choose sleep" kind of person when i was just a freshie and my energy drink in the morning is also coffee! but after learning that drinking coffee in the morning is just like having that fake peek energy then getting sleepy again in the afternoon, i tried doing it during 9am or 10am, hours after i finish battling with my sleep demons. It is working for me up to this day, its like adding energy booster to your already built energy in the morning, i know dis will get you to be super grumpy in the first days or weeks but it will pay off! trust me or dont u do u, slay my girl!
hey lihn, love your videos and i’ve been watching you since like 2021! you’re a big inspiration especially since i started ed recovery a couple days ago ❤❤❤❤
the English literature student in me absolutely screamed with joy when I saw ‘never let me go’!! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝ it’s such a heartbreakingly beautiful book!
listening to "super tuna" in the morning is so smart. i may have to steal this from you! this video is super helpful as i am back at school & need to start forming a morning routine that actually makes me get ready & leave. amazing video as usual!
When I was in college, I was "stuck" being a commuter student. I absolutely HATED it. I was always jealous of the other students who got to stay in dorms and just walk to their classes which were just buildings away. But you, a commuter student, are taking it like a champ. No complaining, no dawdling, and always keeping a schedule. Maybe if I complained less and stopped turning green with envy nearly every day, I would have actually felt more accomplished. Thanks for inspiring me.
I literally love your personality and also the video editing??? Omgg!!! it is so inspiring and just cool in general! It oddly idk why gives me a vibe from Howls moving castle and I'm so in love
i came across ur channel out of nowhere and girl! i instantly fell for you aesthetics first and foremost.... Plus that Tata hairband and more cute stuffs u have ae so cuuuttee!.. Secondly, thanks for motivating me thru this vdo. I've been an absolute asshole this whole week and now it's tym to get back to work.... Thanks!💜
Love you Linh❤I haven't had any fun lately, 😭 so it was fun. You bring me joy!❤🙂I love the kind and generous heartwarming atmosphere that you create, your kind, easygoing, warm vibe. ❤I like the essence how you live on. I need to be true to myself and find a job I am passionate about. I want to find a way to live as who I really am.
ah i just recently discovered your channel and your vlogs are so conforming and they give me hope, also super tuna is such a great song to listen to in the morning
Honestly the biggest tip i can give as someone who used to wake uo at 5:30 everyday for work is routine and set up. I set out everything i need fully resdy the night before. My uniform is always in the same place by my bed, and its silly but i change under my sheets because my room is cold. All i have to do ut get dressed grab everything and go. My 30 min commute was my time to mentally prepare and hydrate.
Linh it's so good to see your videos in my feed again :) although i consider myself an early bird, I've been trying to get up earlier so this is super helpful!!
I really like waking up early and have all the time in the world to do things. It hits different knowing if I mess up breakfast, I'll still have time to fix it with homemade coffee
lovely morning video, ty, was feeling panicky but this video totally calmed me down my morning routine has completely evolved lately, been getting up early and going on a two hour morning walk - which sounds like a lot, but it has been so helpful. I get home super happy & hungry for my porridge, om nom nom
I'm more of an early bird. I get sleepy quite early at night (around 10pm) and need to sleep a lot so I go to bed around that hour. But since I work till 7pm, plus my 20-30 min commutes, that doesn't leave me with a lot of time to take care of my home nor relax. So I wake up at 7 every morning, not that early but earlier than needed while starting work at 10, and in this extra time before I have to get ready and leave for work, I can do some light cleaning (like taking care of some dishes) and / or enjoy some of my hobbies (reading, playing some video game, watching something, studying japanese or korean when i'm feeling extra motivated...), sometimes doing some work out. It works really well for me, the only downside being that now I can't sleep past 7:30 on my days off, even when I get to bed waaayy later than usual 🙃
