Well I'll be damn... I had a harsh vocal I was fighting with and shut the fulll chain off and applied your video... milded it down so much I barely needed any thing else except some eq... TY much
I hope you do a series on dialogue and voiceover. Dialogue problems and fixing them? Best plugin to use dialogue? What is the best plugin for voiceover? How do we fix the problems of repetitive sound and noise? I'm aware you've made videos of some of the ones I've mentioned, but they're about songs. My respect and love.
Apparently you should not use any compression, just the limiter for the voiceovers and dialogue. It makes a better and clearer results. I hope it helps somehow
Maybe, but they don’t necessarily NEED to be. Sometimes it makes sense to compress then EQ then compress again. Others you just go back to back compression. It all depends on your track. Try out different placements and see what sounds best to your ears, there’s no “rule” that says you have to do it a certain way in this case
@@5piece Best Broke Down Appreciate U Bro 🔥🔥 So One More Question Ive tried all different ways before i became more experienced watching videos like this and seeing what works best but my goals is to develop my own chain so what do you think about just simply eq compress eq compression and the clean up eq ?
@@ChoppaboyDinero123 your chain could be even simpler. It could literally just be EQ and compression and that’s it. Or it could be exactly what you described. I can’t really say here because this is just a hypothetical text convo. Best thing to do is shoot out the different options and placements and see which plugins and what order you like best 🤙🏼
As a content creator, I need to be able to use a song without having RU-vid copyright issues and this song fit the bill for this specific use-case/example. Sorry it ruined it for you, but that doesn't take away from the lesson, nor has it hindered many others from learning from it. Check out my other content as I do use a variety of songs, some with more AutoTune than others. Most of what I do is in the rap and R&B lane, so AutoTune is a common thing here.
This is The problem with modern day mixing plugins and your daw. Talk about overkill. You literally got the same sound at the end with 7 plugins that you had near the beginning with like 2 or 3 LOL.
