Your content has transformed my hair and my view of the world. Thank you for the joy and the well-produced hair advice. . I have coarse, colored hair that tends to brass and frizz. I use an Airwrap in the morning to style my hair. I do use good products. I cannot wait to try JVN. My hair looks good until lunch, then I need to restyle it. Such a good list! Bio Ionic has amazing hair tools and they have "healthy heat" tech for healthier, shinier hair. I used the JVN leave-in on days I don't dry / use tools of course to give my hair a break ;)

This Brush Crush sounds interesting. I might need this in my life. I love triple barrel wavers! 😍😍😍 I have still never mastered using flat irons. 😂😂😂 I’m such a curling iron girl. I use a Gold ‘N Hot blow dryer. I swear I think it was my very first blow dryer & it’s my tried & true. I think it’s because it has the perfect comb attachment & it’s not shaped like a standard blow dryer. I’ve tried the more standard shaped ones & they don’t work as well for me. And speaking of Gold ‘N Hot…your next point about melting your hair off happened to me with their curling iron when I was like 16. I literally had the heat so high & it melted off my hair. I was mortified! 🫢😂😂 It was only a piece so I survived. I was so used to my Conair curling irons, that I was not ready for that level of heat. I had it up way too high. I feel like for the past few years I’ve been off heat styling & but I’m kind of getting back into it again. I don’t feel like my heatless life really got me all that far…& I always try to be as healthy as possible with my heat styling. Well, love you, babe! Happy Styling! 🥰🥰🥰

Do you have any tips on how to get any heat styled hair style to stay in fine and very pin straight hair. My hair does not hold a curl unless it's something like a wet set with cushion rollers or rags. Heat styling my hair just does nothing the only thing that works is blow drying it other than that everything will fall out within an hour or so unless I hairspray it until it's rock hard.

Yes, it will only last for 3-5 hours after applying!

Jonathan can you do a video about finding clothes for larger bodies? Specifically I have a friend who is transitioning and she's looking for clothes for a 5'11 broad shouldered body and also shoes. We've gone to Nordstrom's rack a couple times and just can't find anything for her. I wish there were more variety and accessibility for trans people at commercial clothing stores. Her vibe is very business casual librarian chic and I'm so excited because she just started hormone therapy.

Can you use this heat protectant on dry hair?

It’s always easiest to distribute with damp hair, you can use a spray bottle. Spray heat protectants can be used on dry hair, but make sure you distribute evenly with a wide tooth comb. I try to always damp first though!
