Ah yes, I was going to do my further maths this way and was worried about it too but when I moved back to my school we ended up doing 2 years maths and FM. I think what you’ll do is, instead of having, say, 5 hours maths and 5 hours FM a week, it’ll be 10 hours of maths that week. That way you’ll be able to cover the entire maths syllabus in year 12 - it’ll just be a lot more intense for you as you’ll have 1 year to cover FM in the same way. What I will strongly say is, it’ll get very tough. But stick it out - it’ll be so worth it at the end. With the process you’re doing, many people tend to drop out because of the intensity, but try and stay on top of everything if you can. At the start of year 12 I was doing maths and FM the same way you will be and found it hard, the teacher ended up telling me FM may not be for you as I was finding it hard. I stuck it out and ended up with an A even though it was so hard for me. Whereas at that school, most people dropped out. I believe in you, just don’t give up! It’s really frustrating how this massively benefits private school kids and puts state school kids (especially in a disadvantaged area) in such a bad position. I’ll be praying for you, I know you’ll do great, but fight for your appeals if you have to!!♥️
