Imagine going to your school and exploring all the little hidden areas that you've never seen, the teachers lounge and teacher's bathroom. It would be amazing. It would be kind of sad to see all the rooms falling apart because that's where memories were created.
Imagine leaving your school on your last day there, only to come back over a decade later to find it abandoned, and your desk sitting in the exact same spot that you left it in 😢😭
imagine walking through this school but years later you walked through the same school but everything is gone and abandoned , i find this too emotional 🥺
My middle school is a very outdoorsy school and it’s not a huge building mine is a huge campus with grassy fields and courts without scary indoor hallways so even if my school were abandoned, I wouldn’t be sad cause it would still look beautiful Edit: Nah JK I would be very sad to see my school abandoned too, I love my school
Mine 🙋♂️ too... Not exactly a school, but a university. Our classes were on the hilly part of the campus. During the duration of my studies, classes were gradually moved to newer buildings off the hills. Years later, the classrooms blocks in the hilly part was abandoned. Recently, those buildings are now demolished. Really sad to see that. All my memories, gone. Also, there's blocks of student dormitory which was already abandoned when I began studying there. Those blocks are haunted by a female ghost and djinns and are off limits to students. Now, these blocks are demolished too. University admin decided to return those demolished place back to nature (with some hiking trails for people exercising).
Yeah i would read the white board and the textbooks on the student's tables, the detail intrigues me so much I wanna go explore abandon schools so much but there aren't any in my country
Savannah Ferrell I'm not sure if this is true but we will never know the real answer but maybe because at the start of the video he said the school shut because a lot of chemicals and it was old so maybe they didn't want to take the desks and chairs incase they were containing chemicals and then brought them into the new school, or it could just be the simple reason the desks look quite old fashioned and they wanted to give the school a more modern look but idk
kaitlin Hiscock I know! Like they know the school was shutting down. Wouldn't you take down some papers and stuff. That's seemed odd to be. It looked more like an evacuation lol
Disappointed they didn't even touch the piano to see if it still works. It always saddens me a bit to see abandoned pianos in good condition just rotting away.
My jaw dropped when I saw the keyboarding room was shown. Mr. Highcove scared the hell out of me!! The lunch room holy hell. So many memories. I live right down the street, if I look out my living room window now I can see the stone side of the building. So happy you posted this!!!
Someone said it was because the school was evacuated cause it was too poisonous for kids to stay at for hours which is probably why it looks like people just got out of their seats and never came back
My old elementary school was torn down about a year ago. I explored that school so much when I used to go there. Going up into the attic and back behind the stage. So many memories of that school. It's too bad...
Jon's Tech Channel same here... it was pretty depressing when we found out it was being torn down because my friends and I would explore it because it was giant.
I went and took pictures of mine at different times of the demolition. They tore it down so quickly, I was thinking that they would tear it down in the summer but nope, right in the middle of January 2016!
No roof shots or video? no deep exploring into the bowls of the school? You went easy on this one because it was your old school. I'll give you a pass on this but you need to bring it on the next one.
J.M. Hanover look at my channel for the rest! I have more footage with josh in it and Danny as well! Haha I did the pipe tunnels and the roof man check it out!
Asbestos is only dangerous if it is in spores (airborne), lead has to be ingested (probably in the pipes), and mercury is usually airborne. I would like to hope they cleaned out the mercury, but it’s doubtful.
Yes it does seem large for a middle school but imagine it if they would have kept it as a high school. It would have needed to be that big maybe possibly bigger
the middle school is 100 percent real because i see it every mornin and all my teachers at the new middle school are former employees of that astabilishment
Enies Perez Why was it abandoned? It's seems still in good shape and was in better.. so why was it's just abandoned they didn't close it because books and desks are still left there.
Everyone is sad because we all look back and now realize how old we really are. We remember the good and bad times of our youth and now it really hits home that our youth is a thing of the past.
There is an abandoned middle school about 10 minutes from where I live and the school closed for good in 2004 for unknown reasons. Me and my friends went exploring there a few years back and for some reason the power and all the lights were still on. In the school, there were some backpacks, school supplies from students, old 90s computers, and various pictures just lying around. It was like a time capsule of the early 2000s and that will most likely always be forever frozen in that time. While it was cool and intriguing to explore, there was also this weird intense sadness that all of us felt while exploring there, and after we left the building me and my friends just started bawling our eyes out for literally no reason.
Man you are just like me! I’m a 24 year old woman and I LOVE memories like you. And 6th grade to 8th grade were the best times of my life. I met my soulmate at that time too (even tho we are not together now). But i freaking LOVE to explore old places that I used to be at. My middle school is still there and it’s still used. But I did drive by there during school hours and take pictures of the outside. I LOVE how excited you are to be there and explore old memories. I’m the same way man. The same way. I’m glad you got to go there. ❤️
i love discovering abandoned places like this. it makes me wonder, "why is this abandoned?", "who's stuff was this belong to?", "Are the people that have went here still alive?". Its very fun, sad and nostalgic at the same time.
The_leaning_tiger2 Well obviously i knew about this place. I was reffering to other cool abandoned places around the world. My fav is abandoned schools and amusement/water parks.
My junior high is still in use but, as a grade school. Even my old high school is still being used today. When I was a freshman in high school just before Christmas break a senior burned the oldest part of the school up. Almost the entire 2nd floor in the old part was gone. It was back in December 1984. When I was my high school the following day that I broke down in tears. Even us students were bused to another school a half hour away in a smaller high school. It was split that the juniors and seniors in the mornings. Freshmen and sophomores in late mornings to late afternoons. I remembered getting home at 6pm. I even had P.E. at my old school and even looked outside to see the fire damage. It took 2 and a half years to get back to the high school. It was still under construction during the school year. That was my senior year. I was even hanging out with my good friend that year after school. He was a junior that school year. We became close to each other as really good friends. He was very shy and quiet guy. I’m more outgoing person. We even went to prom together. I loved to go back and see my high school again since I was in it for 1 school.
I remember my old elementary school..... they turned it into apartments after 2005. The 2002-2003 school year was the last year of the school because they built a new elementary/middle school near the high school. We all got shirts in June of 2003 that had all the schools on it that were closing to form the new elementary school. My former girlfriend and I met in the new school. We were in fourth grade together. She and I were really good friends until i switched schools. We remained friends and we still are friends to this day. Realizing that your old school was abandoned Josh definitely gives me chills.
@@bowelcancer6633 thats not bad mine school hads the same things but some of them are so broken and i had to sit in the worst one there was so meny cracks on it
Memories dude it's just great to remember stuff... (I'm sorry if this message or video takes your memories back when you had a school that's now abandoned)

Omg the junior gym stairs!! We were all scared of those stairs. The stories were that there was a girls bathroom up there and someone was murdered. We swear we saw bloody handprints up there!
did they just drop everything and ditched the place? Seriously they didnt even bother wiping the boards....there was even a Pepsi can still on a table, papers everywhere, cables still connected...Those desks could have at least been used or donated lol
My old junior high and both my high schools got torn down and rebuilt (1952, 1961, 1973). It was sad to watch them be torn down. They were replaced, but it's never the same . . . The '73 high school was only 26 years old when they tore it down! It was still new, to me. My brother went to school with Pee-Wee Herman and that school was built in 1926. It still exists, but they gutted it and turned it into an art museum. My mom's high school was built in 1934 and it still stands, in perfect condition, and it is used every day. It was very well-built. In my old high school, they left behind all the furniture, just like in your school. The amount of waste in this country is unbelievable! No wonder we're 32 trillion dollars in debt. I wanted to go through my old school and video-tape it before it was demolished, but they wouldn't let me. I could only tape from the outside as they worked. In July of 1999, all I had was an RCA VHS camcorder from Sears that weighed about 10 pounds and it sat on my shoulder. I came back on like six different days and got about 4 hours of tape. I still have it.
My school is quite similar. They unfortunately tore down the old schools and we're currently in the new schools, but the middle school had 2 gyms (one of them is still used because it was newer) I remember the shop class was huge and there were cobwebs all over. The water fountains were also starting to rust and mold. Kinda already felt abandoned. I never went to the old high school, but I heard rumors. There was creepy basement where a bunch of the math classes were, and it was an even older building so it looked abandoned itself. Both the schools were pretty big and falling apart, now both of the schools are connected and look way better, but I still miss the old ones. Wish I could've explored them. The current schools are really big, about the same size as this school, it not more.
As a Indian it is still not look like abandon because this school is still better than majority of Indian running school. Oh Sundar Pichali! Are you agree with me?😁
This guy is so chill compared to Lewis Clark. There was a ringing noise, and he was chill, if Lewis Clark went in there and heard it, he would be like,"GET OUT, GET OUT, GET OUT!!!!! Edit- thanks for 100 Likes!!! Edit #2- Holy crap!!!!!! 200 Likes???!?!???!?!?? Thank you so much!!!!!!!
Heh... I remember this, this has great memories... I found this again on my reccomendations... I remember I had my old phone in my hand watching abandoned places on yt and came across this video. I was like "omg Hunter look at this!" He was excited to see this and yeah. Great memories...
I got a weird vibe watching this whole video and I had like flashes seeing those kids in those rooms way back then and then seeing josh and them just walking around and it felt weird Like sad and something else
They most sad thing to me is the the building it self (at least the front/original part) is still very beautiful and grand. You gotta respect how nice and grand older school buildings are. I wish new school buildings still looked like this.
honestly i thought the same thing, maybe they finished up at that school before winter break (date on the white board maybe?) and they had the kids start at the new school after winter break? maybe they knew they were leaving so they didnt see a point in cleaning up anything bc they werent coming back? i have so many questions hahaha
I found that interesting too and a lot of the textbooks looked brand new in the 6th grade part. They probably got all new things at the newly built middle school
I’d probably break down and cry if my school became abandoned, I have no many memories in it. Especially my elementary, I know that place like the back of my hand
but its so weird that even the kids books, pen and paper were left, like they were going to return, it seems that they had some type of emergency to leave everything like that.
This is really funnnn. And this abandoned classroom really looks like a abandoned place. Really plays the vibe of being in an abandoned place 🐱. I love this video. Bro I'm seriously getting goosebumps when it's dark 🌑.
My middle school was also abandon it's been empty for years now. It's crazy to venture through it and remember all the memories the and friends I had in those Halls. It's a sad fate the school is very beautiful on the inside
Well, neither does the room, doubt they perfectly cleaned it just to fake something. Maybe they brought them, but the dust certainly isn't the way to tell.
Legend has it mr Schwartz is still counting his age in seconds 😳 but yo for real this video is awesome! My abandoned elementary school just got torn down but thankfully I got to take my boyfriend with me and explore my childhood right before they demolished it!! Since the school closed mid year I was able to go back to my old classroom and find my cubby with my name still on it 🤯 it was like going back in time
