This idea randomly came to my head, and I went to try it out and decided to take a video too, as I think this would be an exciting experiment!
I believe a lot of you wondering how can the air conditioner powers up the exhaust fan. Did you jump power from the AC's PCB board? Well, that's basically the correct answer, but lemme quickly explain the cycle of air conditioning. So basically, air conditioner consists of an evaporator coil, fan motor, and PCB board at the indoor unit, a condenser coil, condensing fan, and a compressor at the condensing/outdoor unit. AC's indoor units (especially the non-inverter ones) are built-in with a relay that controls the fan speed and the outdoor unit's power, and there's a thermistor that detects the room's temperature. And definitely, there is a power socket for condensing unit on every AC indoor unit's PCB board. When an AC is turned on, the relay gives attention to running power to the condensing unit. And once the thermistor realizes that the room temperature is reached the temperature set by the user via the controller, the relay gives attention to cut the condensing unit's power and will be turned on again once the thermistor realizes the room's temperature is warmer than what is set by the user on the controller. That's basically how air conditioning works, and the cycle will be repeated as long as the AC is running (I know it sounds inefficient as the condensing unit goes on-off-on-off, so an alternative to getting efficient power on air conditioning is using an inverter air conditioner because the power will be reduced once the room temperature's reached, so the condensing unit would keep running as long as the AC is turned on).
Now let's continue to the main point of this video. I suddenly did this experiment once the idea as mentioned earlier came to my head. Because basically there is a condensing unit's socket on every AC indoor unit, I connect the KDK's power to that socket. So once the indoor unit is turned on and the relay run power to the socket, the KDK exhaust fan achieves power from the AC indoor unit and it runs. But once I turned off the indoor unit, then the KDK exhaust fan will also be turned off due to the socket's power being cut off by the relay, and vice versa.
I swapped the KDK's propeller with my National ceiling exhaust fan's grey propeller to get better contrast, as the original brown propeller has a similar color as its unique chocolate-shaped grille and it's pretty not visible on the camera.

I was wondering, since you're from Indonesia, how often do you use the British sockets (like in Malaysia usage) instead of the standard Schuko plugs? Is it only for air conditioning or its also used for something else

yup, British sockets are usually being used for air conditioning in Indonesia. but sometimes it is also randomly used for other things too. i use it because there is a fuse inside for safety, while the standard Schuko plugs didn't have that feature.

it’s safe actually because it didn’t consuming a huge power like when it’s connected to a compressor.
