My son is a senior from high school this year. Thanks for your advice on UC essay which needs to be more like a glorified resume. Very detailed and precise! Thanks!
Thanks! It’s all a matter of only keeping the MOST important parts that are necessary for your story to move forward. Also try to combine sentences together!
wow, you did a lot. junior year was the year I thought I would strive but covid came. I dont really do what you do, like do activities or computer science. I am just a 16 year old girl the first generation, only child with a nail business.and I really want to go to UCLA but im not even sure what I will talk about.

**UPDATE** I have since learned SO MUCH MORE about college app strategy and compiled ALL MY ADVICE for the UC APPLICATION in a video!!! How to write the PIQs, fill out the activities/awards sections, and more!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lYbsxcZagSA.html
Thank you for making this video, it’s very helpful and informative! I was wondering if the topics and awards that you wrote about in your PIQs were also mentioned in your activities and awards section on the UC application? Or did you leave out some details on the description part of the activity/award and only mention it in your PIQs?
Most of them were mentioned on my activities/awards but the PIQs gave me a chance to elaborate on them and tell the stories! Also, when I applied, the UC app didn't have as large of a section for the activity/award descriptions
