I learned that admitted students are required to submit a proof of financial support, my question is this; have you secured an assitantship position from first semester? If yes, have you still been required to submit a proof of financial support?
Neu was a moderate one for him...i mean he thought it was a safe one during the applications but later realized it's not..so he applied to more safe ones. This is literally the story of every applicant..having been gone through that..i appreciate ur honesty..👍
oh, it's a bit hard for me to watch this video seeing so many rejects. What would I do bro I only have a 7.5 CGPA and no work experience and I want to go for Masters in Data Science.
Hello ! I am a commerce student with 3 years of experience in auditing background. I am planning to pursue masters in data analytics because of emerging opportunities in that field , will it be a wise decision ?
I have got an mail from northeastern university to set up a duo 2fa service does that mean I got an admit from NEU? still I haven't received my decision from NEU.
1 question though your profile is great your Gre, toefl, your cgpa scores are excellent and bmsce Bangalore is a reputed college but I didn't see why you got many rejects, yes the universities you applied were ambitious but I think you had all the criterias meeting as per their requirements. Now I am thinking whether to apply for ambitious universities or stay with moderate universities.
Don't be afraid to try. Apply to 8-10 universities and split them in this way: - 2-3 Reach universities (ambitious ones) - 4-5 About-Right universities (50-70% chances of getting in) - 2-3 Safe Universities (Almost sure of getting an admit) But more importantly, apply to those which are best for you. There might be 8 Reach universities which might be around the same rank, but maybe you'd rather go to Stanford than Harvard as the weather and temperature is more suitable (if you come from a tropical country). Maybe you want to go to John's Hopkins for CS because even though there are better Universities for CS, you know you'll get better opportunities to use your CS skills for research on Biology, Neuroscience or Medicine. Cal Tech's CS might have more opportunities to do research in Physics. Hope this helps.
Brother I'm asking you this after 3 years, can you please share your resume with us? What's your profile? I'm shocked you get admits in Washington and rejects from Stony brook?
There's more to admissions than just GRE GRE is just a small factor in the application, and should not be treated like an entrance test. Factors for admissions include - Papers published Internships in your field of interest (most importantly research internships) High GPA - specifically very good grades in your major Participation in tech events, hackathons etc. Community work (although great, but more important for undergrad admissions than grad admissions) Statement of Purpose (very important) Letter of Recommendations (have to be strong as well)
show the proof of your score..and then boast of yourself...shameless fellow..faking your score..better follow some ethics like yash mitra..he showed his score card
A person who boasts doesn't share his rejects like this. And if you are really talking about ethics, Yash Mitra has a research paper service where you pay to get a research paper. Wow. What a shame. A person who doesn't know what ethics mean is talking about ethics
