Absolutely brilliant Mthasekhaya. The perception that we are poor primitive and unable of self-sufficiency is so ingrained we forget just how powerful and liberated we are and can be if we take ourselves seriously. Thank you so much.
Thank you for watching and also for sharing. So true! We definitely need to look back and learn from how our ancestors thrived and were very strong independent. A lot of knowledge is being lost from generation to generation because we have forgotten our power and started adopting other ways of living that were introduced to us with a capitalist mindset and we are losing our “Ubuntu” way of living.
Hi! Any reference to people in the village willing to host others coming to zimbabwe who are not from there? This summer, I'm planning to spend 2 weeks in zimbabwe, but want to experience a rural life. Thank you
Oh how exciting!! Yes absolutely! My mum can host you no problem at all. I’m sure you’ll absolutely enjoy it. I’ll also be there in August so if your days coincide with mine maybe we might meet. Anyway email me and I’ll give you her phone number and she’ll be delighted to host you. My email is sisi (at) everysocialmedia (dot com)
I always admire how the Matabeleland people thatch their houses, super smart, and Mr Moyo is using local poles for fancing good work Sir. I also love the combination of traditional house with a later version. You have beautiful homestead please continue to keep those indigenous trees around. Like your concept of drip irrigation it saves lots of water! Your area is suitable for bee keeping. Thank you for your video, I am home sick now, hand kumusha, lesihamba yemakaya.🏃♂️🏃♀️
OMG ko Macingwane. Very nice girl, well down to you! Very beautiful work being done here. My mother's is a Moyo as well ko Msindo. Hope you channel grows👏👏
Imagine! Natural skill and all self taught and his work looks even better than some trained work men. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I really appreciate 🙏🏿
Yes absolutely, makes your soul feel at home and peaceful. So grateful for the beautiful motherland. Blessed to be able to experience such natural beauty. 🙏🏿
He has a technique that involves quoting the wooden poles with oil and it works. My poles are still intact and have no termites at all. Yes he also does mesh fencing and other types.. He also travels to different places if you need him to come to you he will do so.
That’s so amazing!!! Beautiful homestead. I would love to build something similar for my mother in Bulawayo. Are you able to connect me to Moyo, the builder?
Thank you so much for watching. Moyo does bricks and the fencing. Yes please I’m happy to send you his number. He’s very reliable, hardworking and willing to travel. Are you able to provide me with your email address so I can share his number. I’m mindful of posting it on here so he doesn’t get spam on his personal number. If you could give me your address please or email me on sisi @ everysocialmedia . com or dm me on instagram. Thank you so much 🙏🏿
I enjoyed your video. May I ask what you will use your hut for? I've seen people use them for kitchens, but didn't want to assume. I am from America, but moving to Zimbabwe next year.
Yes most people use them for kitchens. There’s still quite a few families that have several huts that are used as separate rooms. For example they’d be a hut that’s a bed room and a separate one that’s a kitchen and living area. Some families have Morden buildings but will have a hut that they use as a kitchen. This is just in the rural areas though. Wow moving to Zimbabwe that’s amazing. I’m sure you’ll love it. I’d love to know how you get on please keep me updated. 🙏🏿🥰🥰🥰
@@michaelmaps2004 That’s great. I’m going to do that gradually. As I have land I’m building and also working on some income generating projects. I’m going to be spending a few months in Zim and a few months in the UK for now… well for a while. Then I’ll see as time goes on.
@@Missdivalicious great idea. Thats what i have been doing. Investing in different income generating projects so that when i finally decide to move i will find a safe landing. Keep it up 👏🏿
Thank you for watching. There is a passage in isiphala then compartments like windows containing different food eg maize. millet sorghum unshelled peanuts or round nuts etc. When collecting you collect through ‘windows' which are made of mud so you can open the windows you can also seal them with mud again. It’s a bit hard to explain but I’ll probably do a short video demonstrating when I’m back in the mother land in a few weeks. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I appreciate 🙏🏿
Lovely vlog!! quite informative & interesting. So true, chief's courts are notoriously dominated by men but I love that they can peacefuly resolve disputes without disgruntled litigats battering their rival's head off with those surrounding boulders... 😂Fantastic!! Do you have a patreon acc? drone shots of this kind of adventure can be stunning.
Hi hi thank you so much the content is amazing. Kindly assist with the numbers for the guy who installed barbed l have 3 Hector's to be covered ASAP in Bulawayo Mgadla just after Mbokodo butchery

Generally it’s a bit difficult to come up with a monetary value as most rural people still do it the old way using clay, logs and grass they gather locally. It’s possible to buy the raw materials but I have no idea what it would cost. My concept is a bit different because it’s the same traditional style except using real bricks and plastering with a thatched roof. I’ll definitely share the finished buildings with all the cost once everything is done.
@Missdivalicious yes your stule how much did it cost. I am planning to do the same in Central Africa , i know the prices will be different but i can have an Overall idea of a Cost
Awwww that would be great. He doesn’t mind travelling. Please email me or supply your details and I’ll get you two in touch. Thank you so much. My email is sisi ( at) everysocialmedia dot com
I’m not sure , one of the local elders is overseeing the whole project. If you need their contact details or help just email me and I get you in contact.
Iam ebernieto dos lobitos from the Caribbean Island of St Thomas. My great grandfather's are from Angola. Iam a child of the slaves. The traditional court is dated back to the bantu Semitic yesrealite of Afrika. It is a scriptural paleo Torah element of dealing with village issues. The male's responsibility was to look out for the best interest of his wife and home.. the women were not by nature granted heavenly endowment to be leaders, but help mates. But because of the infiltration of the Europeans in to afrika in the 15th century ,his philosophy and his twisted Christian views and teachings has caused a damaging effect on both the women and men socially and mentally in many afrikan societies with in the continent. Many praise them like they are gods or a type of Jesus, but its all a lie. They are our enemies. They are only there to take the resourcesand our lands, and use the afrikan women for their own social purposes. The ancient histories proves these findings credible but truthful. The Afrikans have to be warned not to adopt the white man's ways and lifestyle even in these times. The creator Yahuah had warned the bantu shemitic hebrew people of this many times. There is total hardship and suffering among many of the people today , Due to disobedience. Bye now!
That way of court n justous is really thee only way things should be handled so the village can stand out side and listen so there is no additive of lies go with god which is suppose to be moral and right sorry I'm just saying well you keep up your good works n have a blessed life Sencerly Lisaladybug
Wooden poles are much cheaper that steel poles and we love that we can make them very thick.Steel poles can be expensive and have high maintenance costs , they also need to be painted to make then corrosion-resistant. There’s quite a few reasons but these are the main reasons. I grew up in London. Thank you for watching 😊❤️
Yes absolutely. Are you able to email me or message me on Instagram so I can share. Or share your details so I can give you the details. Anything is fine. My email is sisi(at)everysocialmedia.com
