So many comments about where the physicians formula powder is! haha these are my full face setting powders for setting foundation, my under eye powders are different! Still use the PF correcting power for my under eyes along with a few other powders I switch between. xx
Good to know. Would love another video like this but with undereye powders you've loved for oily skin and now with dry skin. I feel like I can't even set my undereye area or it looks so crepey and ages me like twenty years. Lol. And I feel like I've tried literally every technique and product and it still looks terrible. Thinking I have dehydrated skin vs actual dry skin. Would love to hear your thoughts on dry and dehydrated undereyes. :)
thataylaa I really like how brightening the PF correcting powder is for the under eyes! I'm a really close shade match to you, and your recommendations are spot on. I am SO thankful I found your channel. You're by far my favorite RU-vidr. Keep doing your thing! ;)
I literally find more good shit on your page than any other youtuber. Plus, you don't annoy me at all. I can't handle all the silliness of others, I'm way too angry of a person in general LOL.
Yes! I like the way she talks without forced enthusiasm, she's very genuine and normal, it makes me trust her judgement which is rare for me cause I don't usually trust RU-vidrs cause they could be doing something for sponsorship
I like that she doesn't make random noises or do random unnecessary accents. I can watch these videos for hours because she's honest, informative and not annoying at all while also being entertaining af. I don't know how she does it but I sure appreciate it.
@@zohawamiq4175 The following articles provide proof that everything in the Christian religion and in the bible has been STOLEN from other religions that predated it from all around the world: Hinduism, Shintoism, Buddhism, even Sikhism and many more of the Far East. www. satanslibrary. org/ExposingChristianity/EXPOSING_CHRISTIANITY_MAIN. html
It’s funny because when I go now to other you tubers videos I semi expect them to be a descriptive as hers and I get rather irritated when it’s not. Ha
Along that same line, I love that no matter what Taylor has going on, she never fails to post a video. I really appreciate that she puts in the effort to pre-record. I've been watching for about 2 years and I can't remember a time when she missed an upload. Others I watch always have an excuse why they don't stay on schedule but as Taylor says, if you want something, do it. Channels get bigger and they start to just get complacent. Thank you Taylor!!
She said in her foundation friday video that Cover Girl Clean Fresh Pressed Powder is what she used for her undereye, forehead and chin. She does not want to use powder for her cheeks. Stargazer pressed powder is also her favorite setting powder.
I'm only on the 2 min mark and I had to comment. Girl!!! The love in your eyes when you talk about Project Beauty Share is so heartwarming. I have been abused in past relationships, I couldn't wear makeup or do my hair, my teeth were knocked out, I was raped, a lot of mental abuse... So this is very near and dear to my heart. Your heart and love towards this organization is amazing. So, thank you thank you thank you.
I just wanted to say that I love youuuu 😍😍It's literally so refreshing having someone that's as pale as I am giving amazing recommendations! And btw your skin looks absolutely stunning. Happy for you girl ❤️
Another thing about powder application: If you find brushes don’t work, try using a powder puff! A lot of makeup artists swear by them and I find that they really press the powder into my skin and it doesn’t look heavy and I find I use less product. Puffs can also be reused if you wash them with soap and hot water.
I love your videos because they are always so informative. And I really love the fact that you actually look into the camera the majority of the time instead of the viewfinder!
The IT cosmetics bye bye pores pressed powder is going on sale for 50% off at ulta on March 19. I can vouch.. It's amazinggggg. Smooths over texture and pores... Dry flaky skin
Can’t wait for another accutane update!! I have moderate-severe cystic acne. I’m 25 and have suffered from it for 10 years. I’ve been watching you for years and it makes my heart so warm to see someone with the same struggles to be able to cure it! I can’t imagine how overwhelmingly happy you must be having the opportunity to clear your skin. I literally cried happy tears for you watching this video and seeing the improvement in the quality of your skin. I’m so ecstatic for you and I can’t wait to see even more of the transformation while still on accutane! Love your videos and wanted to show some love &support!
I just wanted to say i absolutely love you! I have only been a subscriber for less then a year, but have been watching RU-vid for many many years and u quickly have risen to the top of my favorites 💟 you are so down to earth and genuine, i trust whatever advice you give. I wld also like to say that even though i am much older then you (im 40) i look up to u SO much, your independence, work ethic, sense of adventure...just everything! Your parent's shld be extremely proud (which im sure they are, they seem great to!) They did a phenomenal job raising you, keep up the good work! 💟💟💟
Honestly I watch other RU-vidr’s to be entertained. But if I actually want to buy anything or actually want to watch something good I come to you girl 💁🏻♀️❤️ thanks for keeping it real and producing amazing and actually helpful content.
Also have you tried the illuminating version of that It cosmetics bye bye pores powder? I used it in a video and you can literally see my forehead wrinkle disappear. So freaking bomb.
For the past couple weeks I've been trying to branch out to other makeup RU-vid channels but I think I spoiled myself by finding your channel first 😭 you set such a high standard in terms of quality and I've yet to find someone else that even comes close. Love your videos! ❤
I love that you did a owners video. We all love you foundation vids but there is more to a flawless base than “foundation” so it’s great that you added in one about your favorite powders too.
Another one no one talks about is L'Oréal Hydra Perfecte. I know you don't like translucent loose powders but I'm very curious if this one would be an exception. I always go back to it!
I never skip any part of your videos! Who would? I love watching you because you're so knowledgeable about makeup and I always learn something from you :)
I stumbled on an old video of yours last week and I’ve now binged your whole channel... I’m hooked. I love that you give objective opinions about what you’re using without being obnoxious and spewing “slay” at us constantly. You’ve given me the inspiration to try so many new things with my makeup because you’re so relatable and down to earth. Thank you for all the effort you put into your videos, you’re awesome :)
I really hope you do a video on the best setting powders for the under eyes, i have the hardest time trying to find a powder that doesn't make my under eyes look crepey and dry, I'm only 21 but i have the most crinkliest under eyes one could have lol Love ya
I have the same issue although I’m 27.. it’s sooo expensive but the hourglass ethereal light powder works so good on my under eye crinkles. the trick is actually more about getting the right concealer, then applying a powder BEFORE it settles into those lines & try not to crinkle your eyes before setting. Set it before you can see the lines coming through basically. Hope that helps.. NARS radiant creamy concealer, VERY small amounts of shape tape, maybelline fit me.
Jessica Brooke also... idk if you do it yet, but it might be time to start an undereye hydrating cream or serum. Every day & night slather that area up
I just want you to know that I save all of your videos from the week to binge on Friday nights. It’s my favorite way to decompress from a long work week! ♥️ I tend to watch too many RU-vid videos but yours are by far my favorite!
Using a flat or dense brush to apply powder instead of using the big ole fluffy brush makes all the difference. A Taylor Tip I live by now.😁 Physician's Formula Illuminating powder (purple compact, matte version is also in purple so be careful) is a great dupe for IT Cosmetics celebration illumination powder.
Thank you so much for posting this- have been struggling with powder issues forever and this answered so many questions and I will be taking your recommendations asap! Love all your videos for that matter, as you're one of my most favorite RU-vidrs !! Best most informative unbiased videos ever and you have an awesome delivery and voice. So many I can't even watch because they talk too much and/or try to be funny/witty and fail. Thanks again for all your hard work!!!
My husband did two rounds of Accutane and never had oily skin again. But I think for most people, their skin goes back to oily once all of the medication is out of the system. But just remember, people with oily skin age much slower because their skin is much more naturally moisturized. I have had oily skin since I was a teenager. I’m 37 and still have oily skin. Most people think I am about 26.
Headhotdog I know this was 8 months ago, but I work for Clinique and we always say oily skin is healthy skin. I have dry skin and spend literally THOUSANDS trying to hydrate my skin so I don't look like a handbag when I age. You're lucky lol
I’ve got dry skin and am aging more slowly than some of my normal to oily peers. It’s all about how you take care of your skin/genetics I spend minimal, differin, hylaronic acid fragrance free moisturizer and spf everyday.
The difference in your skin is amazing what a difference i to suffered acne later on in life tho got help for it now im all clear have been 3 years just get odd 1 are 2 spots now and i love watching your vids you have helped me so much with what to use on my skin so i just want to say a massive thankyou and keep it up girl. Xx
The it cosmetics bye bye pores powder is definitely not colorless it can leave a white cast. I’m like a light medium skin tone and it border line leaves a white cast on me. I can only imagine how it would look on a deeper skin tone. But the formula of it is honestly so amazing like it really does blur the pores and texture on the skin. They should expand their shade range.
I'm still here. I'm a little late to your channel but I make sure to watch all the current videos & play catch up on your other video. I'm not your average subscriber. A 45 yr. old mother of two w/ Systemic Lupus. All my life I had normal skin & a few months ago I had a health scare that turned my skin from normal skin to dry & sensitive. I couldn't even use my carrier & essential oils anymore. Well none of them except my straight coconut oil that stays solid. So I searched youtube for help. I found you & Kathleen Lights. You have both helped me so much. So thank you.
I have the same problem with translucent powders taking away coverage. I did find one that works pretty well though. The No7 translucent powder! Love this video! ❤️
The Rimmel Stay Matte powder also broke me out horribly. I stopped using it and in two weeks my bad, painful breakouts also decreased drastically. Thank you Taylor for all your effort and compromise 💕 You're the best
I had never heard of anyone having the same issues with powders as I do , until I started watching your videos a couple years ago. I thought something was so wrong with my skin. I still can count on one hand the powders I can safely use, especially since I am allergic to talc and it causes cystic acne for me. 😭 But all I can say is another big THANK YOU! Before you taught me how to apply powder on my finicky skin, and which powders to use, my makeup never looked flawless and wouldn't last more than a few hours. Just another reason I will be a #baerittoforlife 💜 And I'm ABSOLUTELY still with you!
I can't believe you don't love the MAC mineralize skinfinish... It's like a less talc , smooth finish than the Sephora. It's like straight butter. OMGGG so expensive but amazing. The Sephora one is good but it's like a cheap alternative . MAC mineralize is Heaven sent
CriscianaLovely I own this but have only use it occasionally as a finishing powder. How do you apply it for setting? With a blender or what kind of brush? Thanks!
Deena Jones oh no!! I'm sorry!! I thought you were asking about the it cosmetics powder! Forget about my last comment. For the MAC mineralize skinfinish just use any kabuki or dense powder brush and just brush it over my skin . I'm oily and I personally would set and bake my entire face with translucent powder before I use MAC mineralize skinfinish. I would just go use the mineralize powder after I actually set my face. It's never cakey.. So if your dry skin just use this powder over your foundation with a dense powder brush
Ever since I found your channel, I thought I was doing powder wrong. Baking looks horrible on me. Setting powders always makes my face too cakey. I gave up. Until I saw you using the Laura Gellar powder with a dense brush. I tried it and then I realized makeup is different for everyone. That powder works sooo well for me. So, thank you 😊
I really like that you use xobeauty products because it’s nice to see people other than Shannon use them 😊 she’s such a big influencer but NOBODY talks about her makeup so I really enjoy that you talk about it 😊
Really? Yeah I find that It cosmetics illuminating stuff can definitely be sparkly and most days when I want something easy and slightly natural then those are definitely not my go to. I'll have to try the Laura geller one. What's the price difference? And if I may ask, do you have dry or oily skin?
AmyM& Beauty Laura Geller is 33 normally, watch for deals at ulta or QVC. I’m oily, with some random dry patches (treating acne), and this stuff always looks great and blurring. I’ll wear it as a setting powder, or on lazy days, over my Tarte B.B. primer for a little more coverage. I keep one in my purse, it’s great for touch ups on the go, and doesn’t cake up if I see my nose getting shiny.
Thanks for this video!!! I've always loved the look of light/translucent powders on my skin. But it's always good to see how products work on different people. What works for one won't work for another, vice versa and whatever. I love videos like this. And Taylor always has so much information, I love it!
She drinks a TON of coffee but she also whitens on a regular basis and uses whitening toothpaste and mouthwash. She has a video on her products and routine. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CvDvBDKwFmw.html
A lot of people like it more. Charlotte Tilbury gives more coverage while the Sephora micro powder gives a beautiful airbrush/smoothness to the skin. Watch Alissa Ashley's videos on it. It is her go to powder.
I'm new and it took me like 3 videos to figure out that its baeritto, a made up name and not, bayrido (or something like that) possibly your last name. I'm dying. Love ya💙💙💙
Made to the end, I always enjoy your longer videos. I use many of your favorites and I apprciate you sharing which ones are dry or mature skin friendly. Can't wait for 15 Days of Foundation!!!
I would love to see an updated version of this!! Most of these are discontinued, and as a fellow dry and pale skin girlie, I really need recommendations!!
The Fit Me matte and poreless pressed powder in the lightest shade (translucent...even tho it has pigment to it🤔) is AMAZING. omg I’ve never found a better, prettier powder. Ive been kind of baking with this wherever I need the lightness of the color (under eyes, forehead, nose, chin, under cheeks, etc) and then dusting it away and setting the rest of my face with the Too Faced Peach Perfect loose powder. Amazing combo for oily (& fair😜) skin. #paleoilyprincess
I've used that exact powder and it looks beautiful and mattifies it great but it doesn't set anything I set with a different powder and I don't crease anymore like I used to
I am so glad you reviewed the NYX one, I have been wanting to try it forever! I will definitely be picking some up. And oh my goodness the Rimmel Stay Matte Powerder is my holy grail. I have tried high end powders and always go back to this one. I actually do use it as a full face powder. I work long 12 hour shifts as a nurse and when I use that my make up does not budge. Plus when I add that powder my pores disappear. There is some sort of magic in that powder for that to happen but it is an excellent powder. I also have the loose powder by Rimmel which I absolutely love but ultimately the Stay Matte is perfection for me. Thanks for another great review. Love your channel!
OMG!! I was just watching your videos this morning, taking notes for when I go shopping this weekend, and I'm SO GLAD YOU'RE DOING A POWDER VIDEO!! taking notes!
You are so freaking gorgeous! Can’t wait for next Thursday!! I’ll be going on spring break vacation during 15 days and I’ve already told my boyfriend I’ll need 10-20 min everyday alone so I can I watch your videos haha
Thank you for bringing the older shirts out! I wanted the "don't talk to me" one so bad but want able to get it last year. I just ordered it and I can't wait to get it!!
this video was posted at the most perfect time! i just ran out of my setting powder and i was going to go to the drugstore to get another one that will control my oil, thank you for making these videos i love your content!!
Babe, I feel you about the skin type situation 😂 I've had normal/dry skin since like November but for literally years (even in winter) I've had oily skin! This video came at the best time!
You deserve so much more subscribers. You put so much effort into your videos and there’s not one video I don’t enjoy. I love your videos sooo and I can’t wait for 15 days of foundation!!!
Thanks for adding the other t-shirt designs! I live in Idaho and was thinking about the West coast shirt but love the older ones and want to support the cause.
I've purchased a ton of stuff based on your recommendations ,the Laura Geller balance and brighten is one of my favorite products and I'll never go without it 💙💚💛💜
I've also had all skin types. Before using high quality skincare, my skin was so dehydrated and oily. Then it became combo and now it's more on the dry side. Your tips are so helpful for me!! Thank you for posting!! 😊
I don't even wear makeup right now, but I plan to get into it soon and your videos are my go-to and favorite! Keep doing your thing girl, been loving your videos since I first subscribed.
I've probably commented this before, but that J.Cat Pearl Luminizer is highly underrated! So much that I feel like I need to buy several backups in case it gets discontinued... I just feel like not enough people know about it, or the how awesome the regular loose powder is for those that are into loose powder. It actually has given my Laura Mercier powder fierce competition. When you put price aside my favorite loose powders are J.Cat's in porcelain, TooFaced Sweet Peach, Laura Mercier, Maybelline Fit Me, and Coty Airspun. I tend to reach for the J.Cat loose powder the most, though. Love this vid BTW! I don't know what it is, but I'm obsessed with powders... mostly loose powders lately. I think it's because I used pressed powder most of my life and only in the past year gave loose powder another chance and it works well on my skin now. But I do still like pressed powders, too. I really like Milani's Prep+Set+Glow and the Wet N' Wild "bronzer" (that isn't a bronzer at all) in Reserve Your Cabana gives a nice glow, too.
same about some powders taking away coverage! you're not alone! I've struggled with a compulsive skin picking disorder with years, and now that i've got it under control, I've found that sometimes the hyperpigmentation and scarring is just as hard to cover up as the problem areas were.
Thank you! I have dry skin in the spring/summer and then oily during the fall/winter 😂 this helped so much! I always look forward to your videos. Usually when you post your video up, my kids are in bed. I get to relax and enjoy some make up time with you ! ❤️❤️
