As odd as it sounds it's extremely comforting to see her bedroom in chaos with the bowls and cups everywhere like...I'm glad I'm not the only one who can get that way. I am 32 and stuck living with my mom again so your whole "moving in with my parents for the 6th time" comment made me feel so much less alone. Everyone else I know has a person and is thriving and it was just a nice reminder for me that I am not the only person who reaches for the stars and fails every time. If you're not already, you should add yourself to some sort of community page on Facebook or something. Ask for recommendations for a good contractor, make a list, and vet them from there! Reach out to people personally who've had work done by these people to get a feel for how they conduct themselves. It can be a lot of work just finding someone, but it's definitely worth it! Good luck on your reno journey!

Maybe ask the gay couple who renovated the house that Shane bought for recommendations on contractors. They lived in the area a long time and they would have a good idea who is reliable as they've renovated a few houses already. Generally the best way to find a good contractor is by asking people locally who've gone through a similar renovation. It's always difficult and hit and miss with contractors, wishing you the best, it'll come together in the end :) 😃🤗

Morgan I'm soooo proud of you. You did the hard thing for yourself. You left the utter cozy easiness of living with your parents so that you could give yourself the room, physically & mentally, you needed to be you. I'm glad you have attorneys to help you with the contractor issue since you do have a situation of high temptation... telling the world who this low-life is which could cause legal action against you possibly. I'm so happy you have mature, sound, counsel in your family & the attorneys... & your friends so that you can make it through all of this the best way possible. I would love to see a video about how you got through all of this including the good, bad & ugly to help others regardless of age who don't have all the resources & support that you have. It could help keep someone from spiraling out of control to even make bad permanent decisions for temporary problems. Of course, you would probably want to consult attorneys on what you can/can't say in a video without it causing you further problems. I would never want you to have more problems after all you have been through.

Morgan, I understand all about moving stress! I just moved to Colorado two months ago, across two states... talk about stressful! I hope this place is going to help you settle for a bit so you can get some peace even with the renovation issues. I wanted to give a tip for next time you do move... I used a company here to help me unload and arrange my furniture because it was just me with a cargo van and rental truck! I was already dead from packing and the long drive so I found this company online, and OMG they saved my life! Just remember 2 Guys 4 Hire next time you need help, they were reasonable for the unloading and did it so quickly, I was amazed! No bumps into the walls when going down the stairs, no dropping furniture, very friendly team of guys. They saved my back, I literally cried when they left because they helped me so much! The whole move was a total effin' nightmare of extra costs, lost boxes, and a moving company that effed me over so finding this company was a Godsend! I have so much hope for your house, sending all the good juju I can!

I am 24 and have also just moved back in with my parents, because I did not get accepted into my dream studies, and I now have to live some kind of life until I can try to apply again next year. Morgan, your videos are so relatable. I know so many people say that, but they really are. Like, I am sitting here, a college graduate (Bachelor's, one year ago, I've also dropped out of grad school for my Master's since then) in my boyfriend's parents' house, jobless because I can't find a job worth keeping that will pay me enough so my bf and I can move out. I've been struggling all summer with money and finding a job, my bf is also struggling with jobs, everything is getting so expensive, I feel like my mom resents me because she thinks I'm throwing my life away, and I also got Covid for the first time about 2 months ago. All of my belongings are spread out across three different places, I'm struggling to figure out what I want to do with my life, and my anxiety is at an all-time high. It's been rough, but I'm only 22, so I know I still have some time, but I'm still scared for the future sometimes. Thank you for being so genuine in your videos when you're struggling. So many people try to hide when they have setbacks, and seeing that I'm not alone when it comes to bumps in the road of life really helps lot.

I'm actually relieved to hear that you got diagnosed with ADHD. I commented on one of your videos like a year ago how you remind me of myself and how I have ADHD. Getting the diagnoses back in October 2021 changed my life. Well, at first I got really depressed because I realized what I've been missing because of my late diagnoses and because I didnt had the right people around me who supported me. But here we are; almost 2 years later and finally seeing the pro's of having ADHD and actually starting to love my life

I also HATE figuring out what to eat. It is such a problem. One thing I've found that hits the spot like 9/10 times....craisin salad. Salad with these toppings: craisins, chopped walnuts, crumbled feta cheese, & lite raspberry vinaigrette. I literally "meal prep", which is just putting the amount of lettuce I eat in Tupperware containers ahead of time & I add the toppings when I'm ready to eat. Shake it all together with the lid on. DELISH. Also, in case no one has told you today...You are a baddie. You are killing the game. Keep up the good work😘

The monkey head with the gold crown...turn it into a table for the patio. Put those thick, round, felt dots with the sticky on one side on each of the crown points. Then get a 1/4 or 1/8" round piece of glass and set it on top. Voila!
