I accepted my pally death. I have full BIS pressing buttons like I'm possessed and came in 3rd place on the meters. Took my fresh 40 lock into the raid and did 200 more dps than my pally. Have not touched the light since.

with pummaler, helm and world buffs you should be able to get like 700-800 dps with some luck.

the problem is they giving all the other classes op stuff from later xpacks or new stuff all together and pally just gets a few things that make them not ass. they need to get crazy with some pally stuff like giving ret a good gap closer. mage has the world but we cant even have wings or something?

I’ve been enjoying tanking as Paladin. The ret Paladin in my raid also pumps. Our holy Paladin is also pretty nutty. I think Paladin is kinda beast and in P3, the amount of viable builds will be insane.

I've been saying since P1 if Paladin doesn't get low CD instant cast Word of Glory we will never be competitive. Without instant cast heals Paladin is doomed to be forever counter spelled and kited for infinity. Mobility and Instant casts win.

Shockadins will go crazy for P3 with the Wrath and the P2 Belt rune for holy shocks. And shamans will get a tankiness and rockbiter nerf its already datamined

Paladin has a great kit everything. Just because you can’t do insane dps like the outliers in one aspect of the game doesn’t mean paladins are bad. Paladins had a good phase and will have another good phase. Warriors playing in classic and paladins playing in wrath lol.

Paladin needs a buff so bad, 3 of the runes have to be together for 1 skill to work. Cs, DS, Som, esorcist shouldn’t even be runes tbh an should be baseline. Kinda sad it’s been ass 2 phases an possibly 3 now

I dont want to say it wont be strong or op but i thought the same thing when they got ice lance and fingers of frost it ended not as strong as i thought tho.Deep freeze ontop just feels pretty strong on paper but i havent seen many pure frost mages but i guess they will rise now.

@@H-D-DOh for sure maybe i didnt explain myself clearly its gonna be strong for sure especially if mage can finish you in that window.Having a trinket that removes everything will be its bane i guess(its trinketable right?i havent played alot through the expansions where it existed). Im just wondering if it could surivive the damage of other classes and not just mage i mean would the PvP gear help i wonder cause i feel like P2 PvP was a bit of shitfest in general wondering if P3 be any better or just even more power creep. Frost mages atm should be extremely strong and annoying for sure!

Ret is not really getting stuff, sure they're getting spellpower based on AP, and Exorcism/holy wrath cooldowns reduced is gonna be fun - for pve. there is gonna be holy shock builds amazing for pvp tho - even using ret gear but with holy spec is going to be good... at least in p4.

Ret Paladins can only cleanse disease not magic. Freedom gets insta purged. Lay on hands is ass on a 1hr cd. Mage insta heals full health with one cast. Constantly.

Loh even being on the list is laughable. Mages can pre cast a instant Loh. If you ever touch a mage he misplayed. Hard casting a 3 sec heal that costs 30% of you mana for 30% hp ain’t it. Don’t even get me started on our 60sec cd gouge lmao. my fucking seals are getting purged. May as well give priests mass dispel (on qol book ofc). As dogshit as our kick is I’d really like to be able to use it but we gotta triple up on runes that all make one level 30 ability 85% of our damage. But your right if someone sits my whole hoj I can kill must be op right…

Are you using The Jackhammer ? You can't use that thing in pvp then cry that paladin is bad, you're just bad at paladin . I'm destroying mages ,they fucking hate me,every cloth user hates me in fact cuz I decapitate them as soon as i get to them . Use a slow hard hitting weapon and get as much crit chance as you possibly can , then you'll see the true power of the ret paladin in pvp.
