You should reach out to the king of DIY Joey Mullins as arowana are one of his specialties. And there are fish doctors or aquatic veterinarians, you might be able to track one down by calling one of the larger aquariums or SeaWorld or other places like the Miami Seaquarium Etc I'm going to try to reach out to one of my old colleagues back at Audubon Nature Institute but currently the Aquarium of the Americas is on a temporary closure and I'm not certain I'm going to be able to get in touch with one of them in time, plus it would just be verbal advice. Cross your fingers for that because South American River species and the collection making up a rather large portion of it and if anyone knows it's one of those folks. I really think you might find someone locally if you start digging real hard.

I think your fish collision with each other to me it looks like it was a brain injury because of the equilibrium was off just from the way how the fish was swimming unfortunately. Sorry to see and hear that your fish got hurt and isn't doing good. I believe that's what happened though I really do. Try having a good and safe day.

You know Arapima are like missiles and their head is hard as a rock so i would say Big Bertha got excited about the food and hit her by accident. sad news but its life & ur showing it my uncle recently stopped having exotic animals because all the ones that he had were too old and watching them all diying make him feel he wont do it again(he is 60yo ,but he is still working hard every day & have the energy) its always sad when it happen because ur the "dad" but not ur fault, it happen.

I'd put her in a separate tank or container. Lots of stress coat and aquarium salt in case of a stomach issue. Could be coking on food or really just got knocked out. A smaller container would work just so the fish doesn't have to struggle to swim and die from struggling all day.

you should have put down some type of epoxy paint on bottom and side walls and i would haft the back just how you have it now pretty cool though

My GOLDEN WONDER KILLIFISH did the exact same thing after it got stuck in the filter I had to put it in another tank that had a less powerful filter I left it alone and a month it went back to normal
