My Mbieri people observed NGBEDE in the olden days. The bride stay weeks being cared for, pampered before following their husband.The day she is unveiled, there is eating and drinking and the community comes out to watch it. I believe all Igbos did it. Even Akwa Ibom and cross river state people did it.

I love this culture. The way it was done traditionally, the costume, the dancing, the marks. It was really traditional and I so love it.❤ Was waiting for you to be teary when your mum was praying for you. Our tradition is really beautiful!! Esp the ‘nkui’ part😀…Rinma You made such a sweet Aro bride!!❤ But Aro and night wedding!!!
