Hi Lucy! I've been watching for a long time but only just commenting. I hope the GP has some reassuring news on Monday! Do you have any advice for budgeting? I'd love to see a video on how to make ends meet in these crazy financial days!

This is pretty shocking to hear that the safeguarding at the school failed on an epic scale. We all know the dangers of this but interested to find out what the school is going to do to prevent this happening again. What makes it even worse is that let's say a child with SEN got out of the home during the night without parents knowing and started walking the streets. You'd have police and social services on you straight away. How is that any different to what the school have allowed to happen? I hope you get this sorted out.

Hi Gina, thank you so much for taking the time to comment. The best I can make of how this situation happened is that my son left through the main reception area which 9 times out of 10 is being monitored by 2 receptionist ladies. The exit isn't required to open by key card as it is a heavily used entrance/exit but the school side of the door has an electronic button to get out. At the point in time he was able to leave, no one was monitoring the reception and unfortunately, Jagger has seen the electronic button used many times and knew what to do. I'm grateful that we don't live all that far from the school but it has definitely put into question the safety of him being in school. Whether further action will be taken by the school remains unknown to me and I'm just hoping it doesn't occur again🤞

@@Lucy_365 Can you report this to the school Governors as this is not the first time it's happened. I don't want to go into details of scare stories as I'm sue you're well versed on the World today. Something needs to be put in place immediately in the school, their current set up clearly isn't working. At the very least, better safeguarding measures could save a child from a terrible outcome God forbid. I am willing to help you put together a letter to the head teacher and Governors if you'd like. I'm just an ordinary 61 year old Nanna and would be on the case if it were my grandchildren being put at risk while they're on school property.
