I was 17 when this song hit the air waves, I bought my first 12 string when I saw Roger McGuinn playing his Rickenbacker 12 string. This is one of my favorite songs that the Byrds performed. Ya'll played the part very well, I'm 72 now and sure miss the 60s and 70s, WE HAD THE BEST MUSIC ❤

Looks like Jim McGuinn had the same effect on both of us with that Rick 12 string. I actually did this song in our band in the mid-60's. But couldn't afford that 360-12 Rick until years later. Buy I still play it now at 75 years young. Still applicable today," I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now"!

I first heard this about 54 years ago and have been singing it ever since. I was a radical then and too old for this song to give me pause. I am younger than that now. I could not hear and did not heed his warning to all of us not to be misled by abstract threats to noble to neglect.

Als Franzose entdecke ich gerade diese wunderbare deutsche Gruppe, die herrliche englische covers von den Welthits interpretiert!!! 😀😀👍😀😀👍👍Génial. Ich bin selbst Chorleiter und kleiner Arrangeur und bin total vom Hocker gerissen von den Arrangements, die die Gruppe von tambourine Mann und California dreaming darbietet..Genial, Genial. As far as covers of this superb song go, my absolute favourite is the one by Joan Osborne and Jackson Browne, I don't think that this is a song to be sung in the happy-go-lucky way that the Byrds did it... But these guys are so terrific, they seem to be having such a good time doing this, that they come a very close second. Love you people, keep up the good work! ❤️

Bob would be proud! So nice to see & hear the these Byrds/ PP& M (Peter, Paul and Mary) voices. Love your enthusiasm your musicianship the way that you all shared different verses was very reminiscent of Bob, inviting a lot of artist on to sing their part on stage with him. Dylan on boys and girls. Peace love and rock 'n' roll

I regularly watch this song from the tribute to Bob Dylan some 30 years ago. The gang on stage includes Dylan and Clapton, Neil Young George Harrison. Steve Cropper too. Wow these people really take me back to the VW van I borrowed from the family I was staying with in Los Altos Hills outside of Palo Alto. I lived in a cabin in their backyard with my old high school buddy for a couple months and used to drive their VW van around with their kids. I think I need to get me another VW van!

Wow! These kids are German? That just makes it even more amazing. Best cover I've ever heard of ANY Dylan song. I love all their voices, but the first guy I like the most. Great rock voice. I'll definitely buy the album on iTunes, just for this incredible version. If the other songs are also good, what a treat! Danke mein freunden! (Lol. I don't speak German, but that sounds close enough I hope. Derp! I love beautiful Germany. To me, they were the nicest people in Europe.)
