Have traveled solo for over 20 years and 13 trips to Nassau. Just be street smart and use common sense. The people are wonderful!! The food is great!!

Just watch the weather. If it's hot, save your walking around for the mornings / evenings and if you need transportation use that during peak day hours. Stay hydrated, and have a great time.

Actually, no, I never did. The locals are very friendly, and I practiced good, general precautions as a solo female traveler. If you do the same, I'm sure you'll be fine. If you haven't already, please consult the "Safety Tips" section of my "15 Things To Know Before You Go Nassau Travel Guide" video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1E0ws54l_Bc.html The most important part is to not wander in certain areas, which I call out, but as a tourist it is highly unlikely you'll be in these areas anyway (I wasn't). Additionally, I would avoid visiting Queens Staircase during dusk or at night - only go during the day. I hope you found this and my other Nassau videos helpful!
