Ah, that's why you were searching for a Gatling Dragon! It's been my mission forever to find some way to make Barrel Dragons work. Or at the very least, to work as well as they can. I've found Gizmek Orochi to be one of the best cards you can add, since it's a level 8 (like the Desperado) that can easily special summon itself and allow for some Rank 8 plays. It can also be played on the opponent's turn, so you can do some cool things with IP Masquerena and link-climb that way. One thing though, Jack Wyvern activates on the field, not the GY. Unfortunately.
Here is the waiting line for the support for Keith's deck? I play it with a small rokket engine since "rokket caliber" can summon dark machines from the hand, also borrel links have similar vives...
I love gambling a lot so I love barrel dragons too, great deck profile! Another underrated deck I'd love to see would be graydles I feel like im the only fan of that archetype and wanna see some love to it
i have a DARK machine deck and there are the barrel dragons but also jinzo and with some of its archetype. it's okay, it's for fun obviously but i like it. also i use cards like mind control, jinzo - layered, dhampir, in combo with cosmos channeling. i was thinking to create an other dark machine deck with revolver cards but mixed with machina (those which are DARK machine: possesstorage, resavenger, unclaspare and ruinforce) using their magic and trap archetype cards.
I tried running a "Barrel Dragon/DARK Machine" Deck in Master Duel before deciding to build it IRL, it was pretty fun abusing a combo of Tiger King Wanghu & Clockwork Night (Quickly became a favorite card) and/or Cracking Dragon so my opponent couldn't summon any monsters without suffering. As well as using Fiendish Engine Ω's End Phase Token Spawning Effects (Doesn't work while Wanghu on field sadly) for tribute summoning with March Of The Monarchs & The Monarchs Erupt for Control and Effect Protection alongside Heavy Metal Raiders Battle Protection. Thinking of putting System Down & Rebirth Judgement in it to banish all my opponent's monsters thanks to Clockwork Night & Judgement's Type-Changing effects, but I still want Perfect Machine King in the deck as a GIANT beatstick, even though he's an EARTH Machine. Anyone have any thoughts on this deck? EDIT: And Yes I did use DARK Machinas with Ruinforce as a Boss Monster in it.
