Hi Paul, a brilliant and very informative video with some more classic comments and one liners from you! I agree with you and a comment below, its not always about buying the best/most expensive - everyone has been in a place called 'start' at some point
These Nilfisk hobby class power washers like Nilfisk C 130.1, Nilfisk C 135.1 or E 140.3, etc. with induction motors and metal pumps (they are a bit heavier - usually total weight is above 15 kg, but it is worth paying a little bit more for them as they are extremely reliable) are very great value for money. Even induction motor is a bit heavier (for example the weight of the motor and metal pump in Nilfisk C 130.1 or Paul´s 135.1 is a little bit over 10 kg), I would personally never buy a pressure washer with a universal motor (not that heavy, but has a limited lifetime). Some people are even joking that these universal motors are like from hoovers. Even some well-known brands sell these hobby class power washers with universal motors and they are fully aware that usually they break down after less than 30 hours of use and it does not make any economic sense to get them repaired as the price of the repair would be very high compared to buying a new machine. That is why guys from AVA of Norway started to produce very interesting, easy-to-fix, and reliable hobby-class power washers. I find some of them a bit expensive (you can get professional class pressure power washer Annovi Reverberi Blue Clean 590 for less money, but still it is good that there is a new strong player in the field of power washers. If in any field there is such competition like in the pressure washer field, customers would be happy. Nilfisk hobby class pressure washers with induction motors have a very good washing performance compared to many other hobby brands. Not to mention that you can fix any issue that appears with them yourself (you can have a look at my video tutorials for Nilfisk C 130.1 (same as C 135.1) or E 140.3 (same spare parts list is for E.130.3 or E145.3). And spare parts are for very reasonable prices in the UK, Germany, Austria, Holland, etc. Only in some Central and Eastern EU countries, the prices of some spare parts are way higher than average in the EU. Hope it helps someone. So if you will have any issues with your Nilfisk C.135 Paul, have a look at my detailed 8 parts tutorial on Nilfisk C 130.1 (sold as yellow Wap by Nilfisk 1350 EU). Regards. Hi Paul I'm looking for a hoover good for car detailing and inside the house Prefer to get one that does both jobs I've seen the Titan and Karcher hoovers, thry even have a blowing feature for drying but the attachment for cleaning floors in not the best What do you recommend?
I liked when you said "not always a top product". Exactly right, have to start somewhere. Also can buy top notch stuff, if you don't know how to use (of course that's the other end of the story). Good video, nice to see you again :)
Hi Paul, I’ve recently had a pop roof installed on my transporter T5, and the roof is gel coated in black. I’ve seen on the forums that people are experiencing the gel coat getting ruined and turning white due to UV rays. My van does a lot of standing during the week as I have a company van. Do you have any experience in getting them back to normal with cutting compound etc, and best course for prevention. Thanks
Try Vikan brushes!!! I wont use anything else. Even use the dishwashing brush indoors. Just so well made , do the job perfectly and simply never worn one out. Never!!
I’ve just had to replace my large EZ brush. I’ve had my original so long I can’t remember how old it is, definitely over 10 years so well worth the money in the end.
Hi . Just need some advice please. Looking for a good pressure washer at the moment using a bosch aqt 120. Looking to upgrade. Looking at nilfisk d140 or nilfisk e145 But the d140 seems to be more power and flow rate than the e145. Any advice which one is better as the e145 is 5 kgs heavier but seems to have less power and flow rate. I have about £240 as cleaning on a weekly weekend and cleaning patio Hope you can point me to right choice
Quick one for you Paul; did you ever get a better answer from Nilfisk on using more than 10m for the extension lead for the C145? Like....a suggestion for that not being a problem? My C130 does it and it's doing my head in.
Never contacted Nilfisk I spoke to a couple of professional Detailers and they suggested because of the amount of draw the bigger machines pull you need a very good quality lead and plug preferably plugged in directly to the wall not a multiple bank mines been fine since I changed the length
@@PaulDoldenDetails ah yes I remember now (about who you spoke to). I also don't get any issues at 10m but it's a lead out of window job rather than having it run from the shed. I'll see if I can find a longer lead that can cope and I'll let you know.
Hi Paul I’ve just purchased the Nilfisk p150 Pressure washer. My question is it’s got a bill in detergent thank what Detergent liquid should I put in. Would very much appreciate if you have a link thank you keep up the great work all the best
How long have you had that Nilfisk? I'm on my third one and my second failed shortly after I got a snow foam lance so wondering if the nilly doesn't like being used with that attachment. ?
Had mine a while now I blew a fuse in the first one then got a replacement machine they hate long extension leads because the power they draw make your lead no longer than 10m
Anyone elses Nilfisk just simply not work though an extension lead? mine is a C120 and it just doesnt work unless it's plugged into the mains, which is no where near my driveway. Ridiculous
@@PaulDoldenDetails how odd! I'm not sure what to do tbh Paul because it's a great bit of kit when I take it to my brothers house to use it, but it's a pain having to do that every time I want to wash my motor
Hi Paul, another top video, the EZ brushes work brilliant, use them, rinse and dry ready for the next time,I've learned new things from your channel and ways to do clean my car.👌
Thanks for the video Paul. Clearly spent a lot of time to go through your collection and give us a run down of your gear. I can imagine this may have taken longer to do than actually cleaning a car.
