I love your video. Coming from a girl who also glowed up a lot (but my starting point wasn’t as pretty of yours) here are a couple more tips: 🕊️ Outfits [1] If you have normal/small breast size, use bras that emphasise them if the shirt/dress you are wearing is low cut or decently tight. When wearing loose or oversized shirts its recommended to wear bralettes that don’t increase the size as it may make your body and waist look bigger than it is. * Secret tip I found for my girlies with a big gap between their chests. I use a safety pin to pull the two cups of the bra closer together. Safety pins are your best friend for adjusting clothing. [2] Try to understand what colour palette suits you most. I personally look flattering in very pale colours like pastel baby pink, light pearl gray, and white. [3] I love adding a safety pin at the centre of the chest area of my top, then tie a ribbon on it to create a small silk bow. [4] Layering will up your style a lot. My favourite basic method is wearing a white lace undershirt underneath my top that gives it a more dainty, detailed look. You can also make fingerless gloves out of those adorable white socks that have ruffles or heart-shaped holes in them. [5] Wear light-coloured socks. They will give the appearance of being taller than you are whereas dark socks or shoes seem to shorten the length of your legs. [6] Have a small accessory that is synonymous with you. Something you clearly show that you love and wear as a sentimental. I have a bunny pendant on a silver chain and a ribbon wrap-around earring on my left ear’s helix that I never take off. [6] You can wear whatever clothes you like, but certain shapes of clothing will flatter your silhouette more. I have a straight/hourglass-mix body type so A-line looks suit me a lot. There are guides online. 🕊️ Makeup and Grooming [1] Don’t pluck the superior medial border of your eyebrows as it can compress your facial features or make you look strangely angry. I would also consider tinting eyebrows a couple shades lighter than your head’s hair colour. This will give you a softer look which is ideal if you have a delicate face. If you have good jaw and cheekbone structure I would recommend keeping the eyebrows very well defined. [2] Wear sunscreen on your collarbones. If you have sensitive skin like mine, that dark red “burn” from the sun will first show up on your chest and collarbone and it’s not very pretty. [3] Know your facial harmony !! Low contrast vs High contrast. Soft/gentle facial features vs. Bold/Striking. For example, I am low-contrast with soft features. Therefore, very light coloured hair and soft makeup styles suit me more. I use soft pink liptints and do very minimal eye makeup to give me a PRETTY/DOLL-LIKE look. If you have a high contrast face with bold features, you will benefit more from heavier makeup like eyeliner and contour that gives you a STRIKING/GORGEOUS look. ^ I highly recommend Dear Peachie on Yt for this. [4] Treat makeup products as open-minded mediums and not strictly for the use they were made for. I apply powder blush to the centre of my cheeks and nose using a brush, and pink matte lipstick higher up my cheeks using a beauty blender for a natural colour distribution. Just please do not add eyeshadow to your lip gloss as those are not usually FDA approved for consumption. [5] For a doll-like appearance, line the innter corner of your eye and lower lateral waterline with white eye-pencil. After applying a coat of mascara, angle the mascara brush vertically and re-brush your eyelashes to create something called manga lashes. They are adorable. Look them up. [6] Use eyeshadow 1-2 shades darker than your skin to create a shadow under your mouth for a more pouty look. [7] This one’s a bit devious, but I apply blush to my elbows, knees, and tips of my ears. I already have a natural blush there but the makeup just makes it look more evident. [8] Accidentally bought a well-priced foundation in the wrong shade? I had that happen to me with an expensive Elisabeth Arden. You can buy these tiny bottles of “foundation darkener/lightener” and mix it in to get your shade. If the foundation is too warm on you, mix in a little bit of your liquid blush. 🕊️ Health [1] In the morning drink warm water with lemon juice for health benefits. You can add apple cider vinegar -> use a straw to protect the enamel of your teeth from the acidity. [2] When you wash your face, pat it dry with a soft clean towel or let it air dry. This is softer on your skin and most skincare products layer and absorb better on slightly damp skin. I personally pat my eyebrows, lips, and jawline dry and let the rest dry on its own. [3] Sea moss!! Of the 102 vitamins and trace minerals we are made of, sea moss contains 92 of them. Hope any of these help you and thank you for reading 💕🌷 If you look like me (profile picture) feel free to copy the makeup style I just mentioned. Sorry if i look weirdly grumpy I promise I don’t look like that irl.
Girl I have told people who needs help almost everything you have suggested. I agree with everything you said 100 percent! I am starting to eat healthy and drink more water, and it helps so much! For me, I glowed up in 2 days on a school day in sixth grade last year by using the right stuff for my hair. I was so motivated too and had a good mindset. Hair changes so much like my curly hair used to be so dry and I used to have ugly coarse bangs and hairstyles until one random morning I found some good coconut oil and used it that morning. My hair was almost immediately fixed. I used to dress bad too and now I actually get compliments on my hair and my fits (I don't get inspo, just put random things together that I've had for years or borrow from my mom). The mindset is everything too! I listen to subs for an hour or two and one thing that will speed up the sub results a little is drinking water. Nobody is ugly or born ugly, some people just need improvement! Everyone who sees this, this girl is 100 percent right! *P.S you are so pretty!❤
I totally understand having a better lifestyle! Honestly, good for you. Taking care of your self is very important. But 6th grade is 10-12 right? That's very young 😭💖💖
tysm emi, ur an angel. i have bad skin problems on my arms (e.g ezcema) and its very hard to get rid of even though ive tried a healthier diet. ive tried over 20 creams and stuff they dont work, but im grateful anyway
I’ve always hated my face shape and the way she called it out in the beginning 😭 bro tysmm i was insecrue abt my heart face shape but now im not. ❤ I love you sm 😢🫶🏻 i will subscribe,im now offically ur fan girl
omg finally someone with the same face shape as me!! i have the same thing where people think my face is slim until i tuck my hair behind my ears haha. i always hated it especially bc i have a smaller build so it looks kinda disproportionate but ive grown to like it. i think round faces are better too, they make u look more doll like :) (ps you are SO pretty and i love ur shirt)
Here are some tips! If you want clear skin I recommend drinking a lot of water and staying hydrated, you could also put a variety of fruits in your water, different fruits doing different jobs on your skin/body! Also eat a lot of fruits and vegetables other than food with lots of grease/salt, such as potato chips and some types of pizza! Also make sure to stay consistent in your skincare routine if you have one, and if you can, you can make an appointment with a dermatologist to find skincare products that will work for you and help clear your skin and make it healthy! Also make sure to have some physical activity to help get rid of toxins in your skin! Good workouts I recommend to stay skinny would be pilates, or running/jogging daily! There’s a channel I watch named Lidia Mera, she has effective pilate videos that have a different range of which body part you’re working on and she also has shorter videos and longer videos depending on whichever you’d like! Also I don’t have curly hair so I don’t have any tips for that but I’m sure you can find some videos that do! I hope this helped!!
Actually work out. Wash your face (cerave is good if you want to use skincare) AND PLEASE USE SUNSCREEN NO MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER IS. Lastly, you may be doing the opposite routine for your hair, so use the right routine and product(s). 💖
Like the other person said, (very good tips by the way) each fruit has a benefit for your face. Also, drink A LOT of water (but not too much because then you can get water poisoning)
you know, If you hadn't listened subliminal, if you hadn't determined your face shape and color palette you would still be beautiful. Because when you look at your photos you may seem to have changed a lot, but you haven't changed, you just grew up, you were always beautiful.
I don’t understand why people dislike face fat (not if you are overweight and thus have more body fat, that’s a different thing), when it is literally what makes you look younger and more feminine
Girl great video but remember skin problems is not only caused by stress and not eating healthy its also caused by genes and its kinda harsh just to say that if you have bad skin you eat unhealthy😭
@@emispellbooku look almost exactly the same js w better makeup skills 😭 theres nothing wrong w not needing a glow up but its so hard to take ur vid seriously
