Great video! Lewis from Dan's livestreams has mentioned Blue Jeans and it's on my list to pick up. I also love Toy Boy and wear it often, such a great scent. Last week's wear: Sun- Lalique Encre Noir Sport, Mon- Azzaro Visit, Tues- Alexandria Hafez 1984, Wed- L'Envol de Cartier EDP, Thurs- Lattafa Raghba Wood Intense, Fri- Prada Luna Rossa Black and Sat- Cremo Spice and Black Vanilla (on your recommendation). I always appreciate your weekly wears and reasoning for each and catching you on Dan's livestreams. And coincidentally, am wearing today Armaf Legasi, a pretty decent Platinum Egoiste clone. Love it!
Thanks for the support! The streams are a lot of fun I enjoy doing them. I must Raghba wood intense. I’ve heard nothing but great things. I’m also a fan of Alexandria.
@@gerardgeorge I picked up the Raghba Wood Intense from Amazon with free prime shipping, it's amazing. Omar from School of Scents turned me on to the Hafez 1984, it may be one of my most intoxicating scents ever, I can't stop smelling the bottle, totally addicting!
Solid selection, Gerard - can't go wrong with any of the TDH flankers, though I am partial to the OG (I like the newer Eau Givree too)! My Weekly Rotation: Mon: Armaf Tres Nuit; Le Labo Santal 33 Tue: PDM Layton Wed: ELDO You or Someone Like You; Comme de Garcons Wonderwood Thurs: tried out some samples: Happyland Shameless, followed by Happyland Barbershop. Fri: Issey Miyake Noir Ambre; Happyland's Cravat Noir. Sat: CDN Sillage; Zaharoff Signature Royale. Sun: Ferrari Radiant Bergamot
Nice lineup for the week Gerard, I went with: Dunhill Desire Extreme, Prada Luna Rossa Extreme, TF Oud Wood, Kilian Black Phantom, V&R Spice Bomb, EL Windsor and YSL LNDLH Eau Electrique.
Great list Gerard! Sunday Givenchy gentlemen only Monday Dolce and Gabbana The One Tuesday Armani code profumo Wednesday Burberry Brit Rhythm Thursday la Nuit de L'Homme Friday mont blanc legend edt Saturday Azzaro most wanted edp intense
It’s finally starting to cool down in North Texas so I’ve gone to my fall/winter fragrances… Michael Malul ~ Jet Black Platinum Banana Republic ~ Tobacco & Tonka Bean Versace ~ Pour Homme Oud Noir Parfums de Marly ~ Herod Mont Blanc ~ Presence Salvatore Ferragamo ~ F Black Ben Sherman ~ Icon
Got a little rain this week too, every time it rains I reach for ADG Profumo. I need to try Le beau. I love ultra male but am not too fond of the le parfum. I learned recently I love coconut smell it’s nostalgic for some reason.
This is how I like to start my week. Thanks, man! As for me, I kept it simple this week. It's getting a little more "fall-like" here in UT, so I mostly wore Tom Ford Ombre Leather, and Ralph Lauren Polo Red Extreme. Love the coffee!! Fall & winter are my favorite times of year for fragrances.
Hi Gerard, Again, very nice review. I really like the Terre d'hermès range and Terre d'Hermès Vetiver. Very good choice. I don't know Jean Paul Gaultier le beau that I consider maybe wrongly as too mainstream. I'll give it a try.
Great video Gerard. SOTW Vince Camuto Terra Dior Sauvage EDP YSL Y EDP Versace blue jeans Versace Dylan Blue Gentlemen Givency edt Intense Fierce Intense
Nice Rotation👍a few in there that i still don't have Mon - Armaf Radical Brown Tue - Armaf legesi Wed - Ben Sherman Signature Thu - Armaf Milestone Fri - English Laundry Cambridge Knight Sat - Lataffa Khamrah Sun - Plum In Cognac By Scents Woods
@@UrbanRican74 that would be great. I’ll be sure to shout you out. I plan on doing a big middle Easter haul video so if I can try some first that would be ideal.
Oh no, Toy Boy! You're right, it's polarizing. I know some people swear by it, but maybe in the same way that cilantro tastes like dish soap to some folks, Toy Boy smells like pickled roses to me. Also, lot of warm weather stuff this week! What happened to fall?
Like many fragrances, Versace Blue Jeans smells WAY different than what I remember it being like years ago. But I agree, its still an excellent product that is priced fairly. Exactly how does a fragrance get "reformulated"? Do companies use cheaper ingredients, dilute previous versions more, or do the ingredients they originally use somehow lose potency over the years, and the newer versions reflect that? what's you take on that? Great list as always, too,
I think it’s all of those things Brett but also when certain ingredients are banned by IFRA it’s up to the perfumers to figure out how to replicate the ingredient so the scent does not change that much.
I completely agree with the Givenchy Gentleman take, I love it. Its a great all rounder and performs really well although I do think the Prada is more mass appealing.
Still haven't pulled the trigger on Le Beau, but will be one I pick up sooner than later. Great week! Was in Chicago for a conference all last week so rotated between 3 frags: Salvatore Ferragamo Ferragamo, PDM Layton, and Tom Ford Noir Extreme Parfum (liking this more and more each time I wear it. One of the few scents that is getting me unsolicited compliments). Have a great week brother!
Man I’m just getting into cologne my first ever was Chanel homme de sport and I love it so far and I just ordered the cremo spice and black vanilla since it’s getting a little colder up here. Thanks for these videos their very informative to someone new like me!
A very remarkable rotation. Givenchy Gentleman EDT has the same opening as Prada L´Homme L´Eau, but then the iris fades and in the dry down it smells different and worse compared to Prada. I have Moschino Toy Boy too, and it smells pretty good to me, however I consider it more of a women's fragrance and I probably wouldn't want to wear it myself. And the problem I have with Blue jeans is that it smells cheap and weird to me... This was my weekly rotation: Sunday - Roberto Cavalli Silver Essence Monday - Bentley Momentum Unbreakable Tuesday - Saint Hilaire Amber Chic Wednesday - Alhambra Hercules Thursday - Bentley Infinite Intense Friday - Robert Piguet Bois Bleu Saturday - Guess 1981 Los Angeles
Fantastic list, Gerard, especially Chanel PE! Here's what I wore this week: - PDM Galloway - SWY Absolutely - Lattafa Khamrah - Mugler Pure Malt - Mugler Pure Havane - Gucci Pour Homme II - PDM Layton
@@jeremykolodziej2472 Personally speaking, Khamrah is fantastic!! If you like that sweet, ambery vanilla tonka like scent, this is it! Performance/longevity is nuclear and I easily get 15+ hours on my skin and that's not an exaggeration! Did I mention the price on this is like $35.00 but I would gladly pay $85-$100 for it because it's that good! They say it's an Angels' Share clone but I would say it's not that close to it but regardless, it's outstanding fragrance on its own and I would HIGHLY recommend it.
Yes the batch code is simply a number attached to a “batch” of bottles. You will find the same batch number on multiple bottles until the batch changes.
Yep I just found toy boy I. Tjmaxx like 2weeks ago. I keep testing it but haven’t worn it yet. U just encouraged me to wear it for the day. It’s quite unique so I keep thinking it’s a situational frag.
@@gerardgeorge now I’m really encouraged ‼️ something else caught my eye yesterday in tjmaxx. Jason wu velvet rouge. It’s another rose frag. It’s lite but inviting. When I put my nose to it I thought about toy boy. I just don’t know if ima gonna keep or return the Jason wu tho. It’s women but can go unisex.
