Welcome to another episode of 'Break 80, Not The Bank'. Today we're at the links course of Cleveland on the north east coast and I shoot my best ever round of golf! Hope you enjoy, Gaz!
Played there on the way back from the Scottish open a couple of weeks ago. It’s scorched at the moment but the greens were very good. Then they had a big event over the weekend. Played a few times and it’s one of my favourites. Great value with a county card too
I’d love to know how this happens as I’ve experienced it quite abit. When you take a break from golf you come back and have a blinder more times than not. Is it down to the lack of self pressure and expectation so you’re more care free swinging easier? Top class content as always. Loving the slightly longer videos to
My home course.. It does get very dry in the summer time, the course is in outstanding condition all year round, you should visit again late autumn time.
Played with our winter league lads in February, was in amazing condition and shot a 74 and took the money😁 Seaton Carew another top links course if you get the chance to play really good layout and some amazing new changes.
If you want to improve your short game, on a course like this instead of pitching up in the air from 50 yards away with whatever lofted club, take your 8 iron or even 7 and hit a chip and run using a putter stroke length swing... Ive played the course once when it was green and lush about 5 years ago. Cant remember what i shot but a 10 hcp i didn't play well. This course is the oldest in Yorkshire!
Gaz you definitely need to play either COBTREE MANOR IN MAIDSTONE IM A MEMBER THERE OR DALE HILL THE IAN WOOSNAM COURSE WHEN YOU COME DOWN TO KENT TO PLAY WITH BULLARD 100% it will be good content
Come to North Wales, Llandudno/Conwy for sub challenge. 4 courses within 2 miles Links and Park courses. Challenge you to a break 80. It's My aim aswell at the minute. Only done it once, consistently in the low 80s. ⛳⛳
Love the vid Gaz, but can I ask one thing and make a CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Can you please sort the sound out and upgrade. It makes things tough to watch and follow sounding so cheap and “in and out”. Cheers
