JC, been watching you for years... This is a great idea. You have been consistently one for the best. I keep about 125-150 subscribed channels and while that changes over time I really only watch 4 to 5 channels every day. You are and always have been one of the 6. You, Elias V, Creek fishing adventures, Kayak and Catfish...thanks for letting that giant Red Snapper go. JC love love your channel at 72 I have leaned a lot from watching your channel. Never too old to learn something new. Am an avid female fishmerwoman.

I'm a west coast fisherman targeting perch and rockfish along jetties, surf fishing. Despite the differences in style I've learned so much from your wisdom and experience, especially in setting up rigs and picking workhorse reels vs the usual crap you hear from others encouraging you to spend $1000 for a rig just as effective as say a Penn Pursuit. For me it's between Fisherman's Life and your channel, both excellent genuine people. You rock keep it going brother!

nice snook. when I moved to Miami in the 80s I went fishing in a canal that opened through a lock to Biscayne Bay in Homestead, FL. I fished my way to the lock with no luck. when I went past the lock to the Bay side I was shocked at what I saw. It was larger than any grouper I had ever seen, other than the 300lb Goliath Grouper I saw while diving a wreck. it was a giant snook feeding on huge mullet. The snook was longer than me and I am 5'10". I threw every lure I had at it, but they were all to small for it to pay attention too. it definitely would have set a new record for Florida snook. I never saw it again even though I fished the canal and Bay area outside the canal for 30 more years. Even if someone hooked it, they probably would not be using the right gear to land it. I didn't care if I landed it, I just wanted the fun of fighting it for a few minutes. It might have been a world record for snook, I am sure it is dead by now since I saw it in 1987. Most beautiful game fish I ever saw, a life time memory. I moved to Alabama 6-years ago to retire, could not afford to in Miami. I really miss south Florida, fishing the reefs, mangroves, canals, and even the lakes. I did catch my personal best bass in a lake in Homestead, it was 14 lbs 8 Oz. Homesick for south Florda!!!!! ......
