Im 58, and I passed my test 9½ years ago. My tutor told me that the Highway Code should be read every year or 2 because things change all the time. He also said that most of the older drivers have 'forgotten' hoa to drive, The drivers that annoy me are the ones who're doing 50 on an A road or the motorways. They make such a danger to other drivers.

wet enough for wipers wet enough for lights is what I was taught whilst taking my class 2 and it has stayed with me since... totally agree with you Becky with the amount of cars and dopey drivers on the roads nowadays. I'm usually around daft o clock in the mornings and it's bliss till say half 5 then the auto pilots and their metal machines appear out the darkness either blinding you full beam or nothing at all except maybe their third hand glow {mobile phone and or headphones on}. after the crunch hours have gone by then its spot the weekend drivers who have forgotten their shopping so out they go thinking its Sunday and so do Sunday speeds 40mph in a 60mph limit oh and yes they forget their lights mirrors and indicators, dare I go on ?... great video Becky stay safe and happy Mondays!

Becky why don’t you get a steel bar welded onto the near side front of your decker then any trees you clip you won’t damage your truck? Buses I drove in the 90s, Double deckers had bars and still have bars on nearside top of roof to protect it from the trees. You never know when you actually do hit a tree and you have your mind on the road. They’re really effective. I didn’t test them as I didn’t need to. They used touch some trees and naturally take a small branch for a ride. Pretty bad as they did not pay there fair 😅😅

Those are fantastic cattle.

Not just in fog with no lights - drivers in cars where the colour matches that of the natural light when its raining or at dawn or dusk. As for Mondays never really had a problem, it was Tuesdays for me.

Isn't a backup camera much more convenient on your truck than having to hang it out of your window, they work really well, even in rain and fog?

Steering wheel attendents not drivers Becky, every winter back in the 60's and 70's they ran a dipped headlight campaign but like everything it's gone by the wayside. No public service campaigns anymore

Stupid me always thought they stand sideways to look out the glass free windows/vents!
