I work for one of the food banks in the Feeding America network, and this plug is HUGE. We are already seeing increased demand due to kids not being in school and parents unable to work. Monetary donations allows us to purchase mass quantities at wholesale. Thanks for the getting the word out!
Here in Italy we are at the stage where not just you hear of a friend that got it, but you hear that the uncle of one of your friend died for it. Do not underestimate the problem.
Someone else I saw made the opposite argument. They said they are only able to go through this time cause of entertainment. So in a way, celebrities are necessary for escapism
Aditya Srivastava Celebrities don’t need to exist in order to have escapism. Many actors and actresses are not celebrities but they’re good at their craft. The cult of celebrity is vile and satanic. In fact we should have more respect for people who do not have to pretend to earn a living. Such as doctors and other medical professionals as well as the janitorial staff who clean the hospitals. We don’t need these celebrity idols most of who are vile and in the cult of Hollywood which has been exposed.
A very very wise statement. I will remember it. To me right now the young man who rings in my groceries has all my admiration. I thanked him the other day but I almost burst into tears. He looked embarrassed haha but he's Young. He doesn't quite understand.
@TylerNah, if it was worse they would have just contained it through stronger shutdowns. Also, if the Chinese wouldn't allow their citizens to eat literal rotting bats we would all be chilling.
Blah Blah Except he is in CA where it is mandatory to stay at home unless going somewhere essential, as ordered by Governor Gavin. Clearly a bike ride with the fam is not an essential trip. Nor is surfing or running on the beach strip.
Liitj I’m in Ca. Newsom didn’t release his hard lockdown until after CN filmed this. If you don’t get that stop watching YT, you clearly don’t get filming-posting time difference. If you want to dissect it, yes he posted after the declaration. The point remains- wash, self distance and stay aware. Stop the microanalysis and try focusing on the daily rolling facts. We learn as we go and adjust for the better.
He says it’s safe because places are pretty empty...because we’re staying home! We’re not home so certain people can continue going out, seems incredibly selfish
@The Smash God there is no known case where this happend. Corona spreads via small droplets, when you sneeze or cough. When the virus dries out it seems to die pretty quickly. That is my latest info from a German virologist
Hanchester Man any virus can survive on a surface for hours if not days. It is true what he says, what all experts say. No idea where you got that information from.
Fox I just talked to my wife about this exact comment. Even with all this bad maybe the end it will bring more together because right before this everything, everyone was so separated. 💪✌
*Brotherfox" Unfortunately I'm not feeling the same vibe. Here in the UK people are a being so selfish, there are a lot of people panic buying food so the supermarkets are empty. This is affecting the vulnerable, the poor and medical staff who can't get to do there shopping. Some are going out with an attitude that the virus is nonsense so not taking precautions thus potentially spreading it, my wife had to tell a man only yesterday to at least cover his mouth while coughing. Then there's the sudo experts spreading rumour, conspiracy and lies on social media. I'm hoping this will change eventually and we too will pull together...us British were once famous for it. Be well.
You're not fighting any battle, you scared little beta male. I fought for 6 years in the Amazon (ex special forces) for your freedom to even use the internet. You don't know anything about combat. This virus is weak, I would never contract this.

Hi Casey, I live in Italy.. Here the situation it's really, really hard.. the hospitals are struggling, we had more than 4000 deaths, this shit is real! We had to close every single factory, shop, schools, we cannot go to a park or go for a run, there are police checkpoints for stop people from moving and spread the virus. It is serious! Thanks for your videos Casey, even watching the old ones helps to make us smile in this though moment. STAY AT HOME, STAY SAFE!! FORZA ITALIA🇮🇹 Forza Italia

As a physician who has been trying to find ways to emphasize the absolute importance of avoiding others to prevent further spread (as we are at a crucial time on the curve and are really going to need everyone working together over the next 7-10 days), I couldn't be happier with seeing your video. It's beautifully done, enjoyable to watch, and brings the point home! Thank you!
The fact that Dan was willing to go travel WORLDWIDE during a time where people NEED to stay inside unless they had been tested and confirmed is the biggest problem here!! STOP RISKING THE SPREAD, especially us young people need to stop blowing this off as an "only the elderly will die" issue.
I don’t believe we should be super freaked out about because if us young people get it we can have white blood cells and not be in fear like society wants us
@@top_floor_boss That doesn't mean other people, your mother, father, grandma, grandfather as well as other people are safe. You're not just protecting yourself, you're protecting the community. Doctors and nurses bust their nuts off to treat those infected, yes you shouldn't be afraid and panic, but you should stay indoors and if you're not helping, don't be a hindrance in solving this pandemic
Dan should've self-isolated once he started feeling those symptoms. That's on him, not on the healthcare system that tries to keep tests for patients who actually need it. You're young, healthy - stay home.
Monkeying Go watch his video // I don’t think it’s his fault tbh cause this was before all the quarantine was happening, the doctors reassured him he didn’t have it :/ feel bad for him
@@yuhanperera1032 Dan stated, the Dr. said he didn't have severe symtoms. The Dr. did not say he didn't actually have the virus. Only the test disproves a positive result for CoVid -19. Im sorry but "keeping the test for people that actually need them" is absolut horse shit. No test is going to help you survive corona if you are at risk. To most important thing the tests should have been used for is finding people who spread it because they are not aware of it.
Guys, I’m in China, take this from me: stay at home, do it for yourself and for your loved ones. Prepare to do so for at least a couple of months at the very least.
Italy here. I second this. Don’t downplay this threat, all the governments in the world, and all the people heavily affected by this virus have NOT going crazy overnight. When someone in the front line tells you that it’s bad, then it’s bad. The saturation of hospital beds and ICU is the real problem, that’s why social distancing and self isolation is important from the very beginning. And if you’re young and you think this doesn’t affects you, think again. You have parents, right? You have relatives? Then think again.
@@suzanneblaylock9598 China has been isolating since the end of January and they are just now starting to let people go back to their regular lives. The idea that Americans just need to "social distance" for 2-3 weeks and it will all go away is ridiculous.
I like how in Mid-March there was a feeling like we were all in this together. I'd say here in the future (May 18th) that sentiment has morphed drastically.
Yes, here (Switzerland) we arrived in the so-called „new-normality“, and the feeling „we care for eachother and we will be different after the pandemic“ is more or less gone
Casey: People please stay home so that I can run, surf, out with my kids, etc. Dan: I don't feel well and I think I might have the virus but I decide to fly to SA putting people in the flight and my family at risk.
watch Dan's video on the Coronavirus because he was told by two doctors that he DIDN'T have it, and that was in February before we were really aware of what the symptoms were.
Devvie Life It’s worse than the flu, but not as bad as some people make it out to be. It’s better than SARS or MERS, the issue isn’t how “bad” it is. The issue is making sure our underfunded, crummy healthcare system can handle it. That’s why we need more doctors and engineers, and less administrators and paper pushers. At the root, it’s funding STEM in education to fix future problems that will prevent more issues like this.
Hey Casey, I was the security guard at the Ralph's from a couple days ago. It's tough knowing all this going on. Sad that the first thing we had to address was this. Sorry to hear about Dan. Thanks for agreeing to take a spaced out photo with me, tho.

The rich already bought off all the underground apartments in LA last year. Shit sucks because when this virus mutates like 5 more times (it already mutated like 3 times ) It will be called a Super Virus. Heat and humidity are its worst enemy
My question is - WHY would he travel while being sick and knowing that it might be this virus!?!? Very irresponsible! Putting a lot of people at risk of getting sick as well or even dying.
Narcissism. These RU-vid's get too big for their boots and as a result do not think the rules apply to them. Just listen to Casey in this same video; you are not just putting yourself at risk, but you are risking those around you... yet he doesn't connect his publicity stunts to his own words. It is as-if they are on another level. Very weird.
Brenda B so what? He is at risk of getting it when he goes out and now he has spread it to multiple people because of it. People need to stop just worrying about themselves with the mentality “oh I’m not sick so I can leave the house”. Be considerate and think of all the others you’re going to be affected when leaving
Dan: I'm very sick with all of the coronavirus symptoms but the idiot doctor doesn't have tests to prove it. Also Dan: I feel better now, let's fly across the globe to visit everyone I know. Common sense anyone?
You want to minimize time outside: When you run outside, you're breathing more and spitting out microscopic amounts of saliva more. You're also inhaling more. These microscopic amounts of saliva contain COVID-19. Fortunately water surface tension means the saliva likes to stick together and falls to to the ground faster. Unfortunately, it doesn't fall to the ground fast enough. Higher temperature, more kinetic energy, the longer these microscopic COVID-19 saliva stay in the air. The more wind, the more these microscopic COVID-19 saliva bounces up and stays in the air. (This is why there's more dust overnight than the end of the day.) Closer to the water, the more humidity, the more places for COVID-19 to stick to the saliva/water molecules in the air. It's a constant action-reaction process, until many hours later the COVID-19 hits the ground and stays there to die. Let's hope for more rain to speed up the 'hitting the ground' process. This is my medicine and physics schooling of the day, what do you think?
@UCZ6Zm56h_u6pt5JZ11q8M-w The apparent origin of this is the Chinese wet market. Wet markets are open air like you see the NYC Chinatown fish markets with food stalls spread onto the sidewalk. Clearly someone had it in the open air market, breathed in and out, which spread to someone else in the market. Your negligible is enough to continue spreading it and one more case is potentially enough to continue the lockdowns. Also, then why did the NY governor tell the NYC mayor to decrease the density of people in (open air) NYC parks?
Scares me seeing you and other people literally cut off communication with all people when I have to go to work still and pass by hundereds of people every day 👀
FlexGOD unless you have an underlying health issue already or are elderly, you shouldn’t be afraid of the virus. You’ll be fine. Just be careful to not spread it to anyone more vulnerable.
People can be helping others because of self interest. For one, they don’t want the virus to spread further and infect them or those they care about. We all want our lives to get back to normal, and to make money, and to travel again.
Really?Discrimination against Asian is severely in western countries and i don’t see how humanity helps in this outbreak . but truly China should have to take the blame.
Qilt i hope you’re joking. The only reason everyone is “coming together” is because the world is selfish, they dont care if you or i get sick/die, we care about ourselves. Thats it
@@Willowtree82 yes same here in NYC. running ok, but no basketball. But to tell everyone to stay home while he goes out on the beach etc is double standard. @@stefpix Yeah, but New York is a little more densely populated than Lombardy, I wouldn;t wanna be there right now. We just need to keep our distance. I can go out for a 2-hour run and not meet anyone, if you see someone in the distance, just take a detour. Exercise is a great way to keep your body healthy, which means you could fight off the virus or any other infection/foreign contaminant more easily. Just because he is doing outdoor activities does not mean he is being a hypocrite; he does not stay in nor visit crowded places and he does not have physical contact with anyone, at least in this video. Just because we are under pandemic it does not mean we have to limit every physical activity.
@@lucaslim8473 what's hypocrisy is telling people to stay home. He could have said to keep social distancing, to wash their hands. I agree exercise and fresh air are good for health. Just the approach. Anyway now in California they arrested a paddle boarder. People are not allowed outside to exercise
I live in NJ and we're basically fully shut down at this point. All nonessential businesses officially have to close, the schools are closed, my town at least has a curfew, people are basically only supposed to be outside if they have to walk their dog. It's so strange, everyone please stay safe and please try to do what you can to stay inside. Today, outside of my house before everything was announced that it had to shut down, some elementary school children wrote in chalk on the road "it's going to be ♡k! :) Stay well!" I think now is a time more than ever that the world is united, this is where real humanity shows. This is the beauty of one planet, standing, united.
2:20 no we are not in this together. 9-5 workers that live from paycheck to paycheck will get hit hard vs rich people that can just relax and stay at home doing nothing. AddictedEntertainment Yeah but one group of people are losing their jobs and can’t afford healthcare while the other can just stay at home and have the highest quality health care, it shows the divide.

And that is really awesome! sending love your way.
Casey’s videos make me so happy, the vibe, the move , the way he edits and just how his videos operates in general makes me so happy emotionally , ps: so sorry about Dan , speedy recovery!
Hello, a young person with the Virus, I feel okay! generally, it's like someone is sitting on my chest all day and I get the occasional cold-like symptoms and they subside (12 days ongoing) As long as I'm sedentary I'm okay, no exercise for me, which makes the symptoms much worse. Generally more tired than usual. BUT HERES THE CATCH! I am well enough to do everything I'd normally do and this is why it's so vital for people who are feeling unwell to just stay home and stay sanitary for their families. It's the best thing you can do.
Julian Felix my symptoms were very similar. For 4-6 days I had a heavy feeling from my chest. I could breathe fine but it took more effort. I rested for those days and slept early every night. I’ve made a full recovery.
These rich and famous people just have no clue. It’s truly sickening. Respect to all the hard working little people out there risking everything everyday that can’t stay home.

Hello from Madrid. A quick thing from a country in quarantine: STAY AT HOME. No surf, no running, no recording on street, no cycling. STAY AT HOME. This is not a joke, we have a lot of people dying and the only thing capable of ending this soon is staying at home. Stop with the “social distancing” excuse, PLEASE.
I had it in November 2021. I had a bad cold, loss of taste and smell and no energy whatsoever. For about 10 days. I’ve had both vaccinations and the booster. Regards from England. Stay safe and well everyone. 👍👍
Honestly at first I didn’t give a shit about the whole quarantine and social distancing stuff because the virus won’t really hurt me. but then I realized that if I got sick, even if I’d be fine, someone I pass it on to might not be. So that’s my only motivation to actually take this seriously.
†Christian H† please take it seriously, I’m french and it’s been a serious issue for more than a week now. At first we were told only older people could die from Covid-19. So only a very few people took it seriously, then schools began to close and all the students were super exited about it. Then 2 days later Macron announced the quarantine. Restaurants, pubs, clubs, everything was closing. A majority of the French population still didn’t care (probably the most stubborn population tho) and still went out, acting if the virus wasn’t going to perturb their daily activities. Since Tuesday, everyone who’s going out must have a paper which specifies the reason why they are outside and if it’s abusive they will have to pay a 135€ fee (payable immediately and 375 if later)... Cops are everywhere and since yesterday all bitches are closed and there is a curfew in some cities, we can’t do jogging further than 500m from our home. Do not say it only impact on older people, children and adults are quickly arriving in our hospitals, some already died. Our first medic died today, this is a serious issue, here in France we have one of the, if not the best medical system in the world and we might get overwhelmed by the virus since at first no one was listening the government. In the usa, I’ve heard that a person who was cured from the virus has to pay 35k $... it will most certainly be worst in the us than in other European countries. Stay safe, wash your hands and try to meet the fewest people as possible. I hope this helps, stay strong peeps. Hope everything is clear
Well... I mean.. kinda.. if you got it, there's no guarantee that it will barely affect you, you or anyone could end up with serious complications. ANYONE.
At first it was old people; now the hospitals are being filled with 20-50 year olds. And even if you don’t die, some survivors will have serious complications for the rest of their lives
Depending if you catch the S or L strain, You will still experience lung and or heart damage with the possibility of it being permanent, and you can easily experience a cytokine storm and develop sepsis and die like thousands of others have, age greatly increases your risk however youth doesn't exempt you.
Please stay home! Here in Italy 🇮🇹 we underestimated the situation and now we are paying the consequences. Two weeks later we see other countries doing the same mistakes! Stay home and don't think it's too early to take precautions!
Oliviero Cazzaniga That's the right message, Oliviero!. Spain is paying the lack of attendance about what was going on in Italy and now we are about to surpass your figures.

Shelter in place doesnt mean stay in your house. It means practice social distancing and only come in close proximity of others for needed things. Everyone is allowed to go outside and exercise. Try not to be so mindless so you need to be told basic facts.
I love that Casey doesn’t tip toe around these type of subjects, and he just lets us know how it is, and I appreciate that because most RU-vidrs are worried about their ads....
Other RU-vidrs talk about the virus in morse code and I'm like "just say it" so im glad that Casey actually does. Its a world event that is affecting everyone and it shouldn't be censored.
Stay home and avoid people, please listen to your own advice Casey... you don't get to preach "stay home please" if you don't do it yourself, half of the video; you're not staying home.
HE'S not around people. As long as you SOCIAL DISTANCE it's OK TO GO OUTSIDE. We're going crazy in our own heads staying inside. I'm from India and it's gotten really bad. We don't have a choice and we're all dying inside
