I think Natalie was scared that if she confessed her love that Ezra would only be physically attracted to Natalie and not emotionally. I think Natalie magnified that fear in her head so that’s why it came as a shock to her. Also I’m confused on one thing cause when Natalie moved to Cali Ezee had a gf like she’s talked about how awkward it was between Natalie and Ezee’s gf.
