It's basically the same build (you really wanna keep tough beak because besides barrel roll and maybe evil eye it's the most valuable skill imo), i just go for flail instead of wing beat because you need another air attack while barrel roll is on cooldown (peck is ok too, but flail is much more useful while in the air because you can hit Hatzes under/above you which is so important).
@@danx4813 Very good to know, so (barrel roll, flail, and both pecks) instead of clamp if I am going full air combat? How well will this do against quetz? I killed one but that is also because we had a small land fight
@@zsean6788 yes, although you almost never need a 3rd air attack but peck is really good because the stamina regain might matter. If you want to get good at hatz vs hatz combat, just join the juniper server (without mods!) and fight against other hatzes, many good air combat hatz players there
There’s an air peck that regains your stam, I believe flail knocks birds out of the flying state. However I still have to test it for myself. I recommend full stam, you can’t fly, you’re dead
Interesting. Is cycling between stab and peck barrage not the go to anymore? Don’t think I’ve seen anyone using stab very much at all tbh even though on paper it sounds like a good attack
Stab would really help against apexs, but I find the Stam return is nice and peck I believe dose 100 damage flat on a hit, where stab is low damage but ignores weight and armor, so stab is good for tankerfights where peck is more well rounded in my opinion
Im new to the game and i love the birds , im having a tough time between Thal and Hatz. I play official. With your experience which one would you prefer? Hope this not a dumb question when the video is about hatz lol
Hey! Welcome to the game friend!!! Umm first off this is definitely not a dumb question. To answer your question tho, I personally prefer the Hatz, it has the ability to move fast in the air plus has a much more affective combat ability then the thal. But I did notice that you watched my build video on the Hatz, but I made a updated video on the build because the Hatz did receive a nurf not too long ago, so I recommend you check that out to get an idea of the new move sets to run. are you also someone of those bird players they literally only find fun to harass juvie dinos and let them after kill behind because you only wanted to make someone's of the juvie players dino life hard... come on dude, so many extremely stupid players play this bird the wrong way, it is to vomit !!!
Hey thanks for checking out the video man! I don't kill juveniles when I'm on an adult at least I try my best not to. I don't find enjoyment in killing something that isn't a challenge to me. But the only time I find killing a juvenile is ok is if you are also on a juvenile. I think people that greef a baby dino when they are on an adult is just sad!
this kind of stuff do only players they literally enjoy make someone's growth harsh... i literally don't see any points of need for an full adult even look at a juvenile let alone killing them and at the end not eat, that means to me he kill just for fun as hobby, this have nothing more with a survival game to do for that player which do such things...
