I never heard of baking a pound cake at 375. It seems like a good recipe to try but lower temp for me. I don’t want a very dark pound cake. I watched to end your inside looks good and the added toppings are a must try. I’ll subscribe
@@EverythingSweetbyCharlesYou're the chef, why 375? It seems to bake the same amount of time as other pound cakes. Your brother and dad sound like a hoot. I know you had some hilarious times together I love your kitchen. A lot of space..
You can use canned milk I really wouldn't recommend it because it's more concentrated and I really can't tell you if they change the taste of your your product
Looks delicious..I have a question I was using unsalted butter..I saw another youtuber use unsalted sweet cream butter so I thought I would give it a try because our unsalted butter is like $7 for four sticks. So before I purchased I did some reading what is the difference. So anywho is it or do it make a difference in the quality of the cake. Please help thanks in advance. That peanut butter cake was 😋😋🔥. I recently started baking cakes from scratch back in February 2022 and feel in love doing it so now I started selling them and I took this cake to work like I do all my cakes so they can taste it for me and if its a go I keep that flavor. They was in awe first of all because it was a peanut butter cake because unlike myself I never had nor heard of it but was inspired because my friend is from West VA and she talked about how the school would give it for lunch so I said let me look that up for you and came across your recipe and Im glad I did. I wish I could show you a picture of it. Ok enough of me rambling. This Kentucky cake will be next hopefully you can help me out with the butter question.
@@EverythingSweetbyCharles thanks is not an imitation butter since I’ve sent you this reply I have used it plenty of times so far and had no issues. I had did a little research after I sent the comment.
