Karue you are so damn good, it's actually insane! I know you can make it far and thank you so much for sharing your journey and highlights it was so exciting watching you play!
Congrats, Karue! Happy to see that you felt right at home in our clay, as you should 🇧🇷 🚀 Keep it up! We’re all hoping to see you back in Brazil soon! Vamos 🎯
I was watching live your tiebreak in first set of QF and I was really happy with your performance. I didn't have time to watch the rest but I was sad after see the final result. Now I see what happend and hope that next tournament would be even better! Keep on going, keep it Karue!
As someone who has been watching your videos for a few years now, I continue to be impressed! Keep up the great work! You have no idea what an inspiration you are 🎾💪🏻
One reason I love your game is you're very chill. Yes, you need to have intensity, but watching you play reminds us all that it's all about being relaxed, in the flow, and comfortable. Don't let yourself or your opponent (especially if he's a psychopath) unnerve you.
Huge congrats K. You're a gift bro. Thank you for sharing your incredible journey with us. Maybe this whole thing was meant to be K. It could be that you needed to get to where you were (with your website, coaching etc.) exactly before you went back on the tour. Super sad to see the floods and will check the site to help out. Thanks for letting us know. Cheers! M
You’re even coming up with good shots off your back foot when your opponent pushes you back and wide on both sides as you’re maintaining your position near the baseline. Good job!
The transition from hard to clay is usually the easiest one. All of a sudden you feel like you have more time. I'm not surprised by your success!! Love your channel btw!!
COngrats on the event. I had plans to go to Porto Alegre watch some of your matches (driving from Caxias), but unfortunately due to the rains/roads collapsing wasn't able to. My father was there and got to watch that quarter-finals match, though. Keep up the good work!
Karue, I was watching those matches on RU-vid before you posted this video. I am amazed by how smooth and clean you play. You definitely have the level to get back in top 300. I will be cheering you from Romania. Wishing you all the best moving forward. 💪
That break in the 2nd set...it was like climbing Mount Everest and then having to get airlifted at the top...lol. Definitely been there before. Fitness > Skill....biggest part of advanced tennis imo. Great video :).
Hahah it was exactly that. Personally I wish I had lost that game easier and had a chance later in the set to just finish the match. But it is what it is
I just started tennis, but I have been gaming competitively for over 20 years. I'm 36 now and blaming my decline on my age, so it's nice to see you doing well at something that is mentally AND physically demanding at 30 and progressing nicely. Gives me a little hope.
New here and just watched your “grinding for a match” video. I really enjoyed watching your game - esp on clay. Liked focusing in on your footwork when you were in the near court. Keep pushing yourself‼️👍🏻🎾
CRAZY! I had no idea you did these you tube videos. I am a gambler and bet on Draftkings. I bet tennis and happened to bet you on the 2nd game. You won. I then bet you 3 more straight games and cleaned up. I have been following you but havent seen anything since June 13th I believe! I love your story brother, keep marching on!!!!! Hemery aint know joke that was a huge win!!!!
Whoah!! Congratulations on the QF in the Challengers, Karue!! I really enjoyed watching the tournament and I am so happy that you are achieving this at 30 years old (myself being the same age)! Man, you could've gotten into SF or better had you closed that one out. Still, you showed some high-quality (& mentally mature) tennis there.
Super effort Karue, great to see you get some runs on the board. Also super glad you didn't pick up an injury, which I thought you might have when I saw your level change so dramatically. Onward! The rain was crazy,...
Great result Karue! What is impressive is that you did get close to the finish line in that QF match. I also think your point construction is excellent… you are playing the right shot and you are executing at a high rate. Turn off the “Inner You” and let the “Outer You” flow 😊🎾
Amazing progress Karue, I followed you for quite a few years and makes me happy that you are back in form. I was rooting for you even against my fellow argentinian player. Cant wait to see what the future ahead holds for you. Hopefully onde day ill see u live in master series of montreal :)
Epic!!! Been watching since day 1 and always hoped you’d do this. So happy for you! Keep having fun! I’m going to get some Huel … “I’ll have what he’s having!” Legend ✊
Watched these matches on RU-vid!!! Great mental focus and recovery. Continue to grow in your physical preparation and you will be winning challengers soon!!!!
Brilliant performance. Very close to making semis of a challenger. Looking back on your vids, you've always expressed more confidence in your backhand but the FH is looking rock solid now. Reminds me a bit of Zverev in that respect. Great journey. Enjoy and let's see where it takes you. Fun to watch👏💪🤞
One thing I really like about your game is that you don't make any noise when you hit the ball. Federer was like that as well. Almost everybody grunts or screams or woo-ooo-ooo-ooos (Azarenka). Heck, even Chris Evert grunted. Does that come natural to you? Is it something you work at?
Excelente vídeo. Além dos bons resultando, incentivando as pessoas a ajudarem o Estado do Rio Grande do Sul que passa por uma grande calamidade. Great tennis player and amazing human being. Craque na bola e na vida. Tudo de melhor!
I usually just lurk but this was so damn fun to watch, great pacing and editing for tennis playing fans. Keep at it Karue, hope to see you live in a match!
A new clay court specialist is born 😃💪🏻 !!! Great skills great play, congratulations 🎉. I only play on the red clay in summer and this surface is so exhausting to play on 🙈🤣🙈. Sometimes it's more about the stamina than the shot making....
Great tournament Karue! You really have the ability to control the Points from the backcourt… I noticed the marches you lost that your opponent had over 60% points won against your second serve… that is way too high - tells me you need to get your 1st % up ( which was in the 60’s - not bad) or do more with your second serve … “You are only as good as your second serve”. …. Rod Laver… stay strong and good luck, USTPA pro here
No way! I’m no where close to your ability or athleticism (or age…LOL), but I’ve had the same problem in my matches recently. 2nd set - I get tired… Then it gets in my head. Then my shots and footwork usually suck and I lose games. Ug. Glad it’s not just me, but it’s a tough hurdle to overcome. Thanks for the great content!
Karue, by the way, when u need to close up the set like in the 2nd one, there’s a tip Kafelnikov gave to me, it is to count up to 4, win 1 think 1, lose 1? Think 1, and up to 4, usually it makes the brain feel like u just need to win up to counting 4, and in reality its just 8 balls potentially) shoutout next time if it works well for you as well haha
Hey Karue, Well done on a really incredible challenger tournament! Super impressive stuff. High quality tennis and your mental game against Hemery was also fantastic and super inspiring to me - and I'm sure to other younger players. I also noticed on your instagram that you've gone back to the Vcore instead of the Percept, could you tell me what your thought process behind that was? Always really keen to learn from the Pros!
Mandou muito bem! Parabéns! Realmente, o problema das enchentes aqui é muito grande, pior que o Katrina! Mas estamos lutando! Continua tua guerra, que vais chegar longe! Abraço, guri!
Gotdamn, you are playing some good ass tennis my guy! I honestly think you are easily good enough to reach top 100 at some point if you stay motivated and healthy, esp if you are just strolling into clay events and achieving results like this.
