This gear score matchmaking is really good for when the game gets to epic and later on in steam they need to hard test more before going to other platforms
Hey Brad, I’m a new rogue lover and I never play solo. I’m curious if you’d ever do trios with other content creators and go through a guide on how to play rogue in trios? I’d love to see how or if your playstyle changes :)
im not gonna lie, the gear mm would be fine imo if it was not split up into four categories. but more or less whatever and whoever is available kinda like the old play tests. if a bunch of people are playing hr with white gear, and somehow we cant get full lobbies then its best to get the next "relevant" gear set. like if everyone is bis and we just need one or two more people to get the match started, JUST GET SOMEONE THATS GOING IN SOMEWHAT BIS. its not like they cant upgrade mid raid. vice versa. it would make normals fun again (since someone can spawn in a room with arguably more loot to upgrade from) while also giving that wow surprise factor of not knowing whether your facing someone under ur gear or above it. idk. broaden the mm and make it only one style of queue. we already have so many queues for different maps. Junk gear can pair with orange, but that would require everyone else being in game, and the lobby needing one or two more candidates and it just so happens that these individuals went in base kit. they can still upgrade mid raid so i dont c an issue especially if they are queueing hr with junk gear, they deserve to get steamrolled. edit: it be awesome or maybe terrible idk, but what if the mm was done based off survival rate? like everyone who survives a certain rate are paired up, allowing those constantly getting rolled to be paired with those also getting rolled, so when they fight, one of them can feel triumphant for a game or two, or whenever they start surviving more, theyll be put into harder lobbies. half of the time i die its from mobs im afraid to admit, but i imagine im not alone lol
7:05 sums up exactly why I hate rogues. You could play everything right and be having a great time winning fights when out of nowhere you lose your 10k kit you spent hours making to some random guy that did jack shit for it.
