i ran into that team using this team and i remembered to swap into the kingdra right away buuuut then i spaced on what other pokemon was part of the line besides gengar/crustle. ended up in a situation where my dragonite got farmed all the way by lapras lol
I am Korean just linked it with my phone..god i have been watched zhonic my friends are either watching too..you are so famous in Korean. I wished you can be a poke master.. plz comment once.. ^^
Yep, so many Dragonite floating about. But my best today was against a Kingdra. Sack swap to my Charzard swapped back into Talonflame and then the Boom using brave bird
I've been playing this team for a few seasons now also. I always swap in the mirror right as you are getting to hydro yourself to catch on Kingdra. For some reason many still stay in vs Kingdra with the penguin when Kingdra easily wins that matchup. If they bring in their own dragonite, then you just get more farm with your dragon/penguin (and still have a drill peck/hydro saved). It's similar to what Zyonik is doing with building up to two, but saves a lot more health on your penguin since it isn't getting hit.
I ran this team for two sets; first set, 5 Venu leads in a row; second set, 3 Machamp leads, 2 Swamperts... I can understand one or two Venu leads, but five???!! The team is definitely cursed.
I don't play POGO since October, but I watch your videos everyday, you have a loooot of charisma my friend, if you ever branch out I'm pretty sure you will be successful
Good line. I have used this since season 3 it’s S tier Edit: you can barely get to the outrage against lapras with a shadow dragonite if they don’t throw, they never shield thinking you didn’t make the hurricane and it slaps. Empoleon never shields the outrage either. I strongly recommend running outrage (60 energy) and using shadow dnite
For myself, I usually run Breloom with Counter as a fast move for Melmetal, Snorlax, Swampert.., etc.. Drifblim with Hex as a fast move for Cresselia, Giratina Altered/Origin, and Cloyster with Ice Shard for Dragon, Flying, Grass types, especially opponent Togekiss.
Thanks a lot. A ton of copycats are fun to beat by counter thier team. They always switch to kingdra and end up losing in the end when their shadow dragonite fights a gyrados lol
Logged in today and stared playing saw so many teams like this but had Dragonite at the start. I been running Sceptile (BulletSeed, Dragon Claw, Leaf blade), Charizard (Fire Spin, Blast Burn, Dragon Claw) and Talonflame (Incinerate, Brave Bird, Flame Charge)
This is the easy mode team. I ended making my team specifically to counter this one. Empoleon, venusaur, togekiss. Since they usually use kingdra as a safe swap I can typically get venusaur aligned with so it can avoid the dragonite and I can usually win switch back so I can get my togekiss aligned with the dragonite that comes in and in the empoleon mirror match he usually comes out low enough to get charmed down even if mines goes down. It used to work great but now that everyone and their mother has had a chance to grind for XL pokemon it really struggles against abomasnow also had a glaring weakness to ampharos leads.
Been watching you for a while, love the vids! Just subscribed too. You've given me a newfound desire to enjoy PVP, as opposed to just getting to high enough rank to get the elite tms and quitting haha i would like some advice on my team though, if you can help? Just finished maxing my hundo g.fisk to 51. I like your gfisk team from your january video, but im wondering if you've got recommendations on using it in open ultra? I've got some nice mons like XL abomasnow, Magnezone, XL registeel and giratina already made, if it helps. Keep churning out these videos, I look forward to them!
i've been using this team lately but using DB Zard instead of Dragonite for reducing costs as well as having a bit better defense against lapras as well as charmers. really enjoying it and defiinitely smashing it with double dragons
Great battles! I'm on my way to rank 19; Exeggutor with Confusion and Seed Bomb is coming pretty handy thwarting both Swamperts and Venusaurs in the Premier Cup. Oh and everyone is running Roserade these days lol
I play this team except for Dragonite being replaced by Gallade. If the opponent has a charmer and it is not facing your lead (Empoleon) you are finished and you can never get away. Also I find that this team does not have a good answer against Umbreon which is somewhat common. Winning the lead is so critical. I’ve often led with Kingdra, hoping to get the debuff with Octazooka
Where have I been? I've been sitting on a 98.8 Empoleon, 99.9 Dragonite, and a 99.6 Kingdra which reaches 41 and outclasses PvPokes sim. 👀 With 5 extra HP it can take one additional Dragon Breath before K.O.
I WAS using this team, and it is extremely powerful and flexible. But now I bet there will be a LOT of double charmers, so I'll have to think another team. But I forgive you, Zyonik! Your content is the best!
I ran into this team a few times and beat them with my Shadow Machamp lead, Gengar safe swap, Magnezone closer. I did not find general success with this team against most other teams though so I didn't run this lineup for long.
I faced this lineup earlier but in a different order. My gyarados ripped through the dragons mainly with dragon breath and I couldn’t believe my luck when I ended with my machamp vs their empoleon.
I ran x2 grass last night on my way to ace in UL and I was melting the overpopulation of swampert left and right. Most people I face with hydro swampert go down easy without the broken move
zyonik : charmers will destroy this team me who's running grass & double electric hmm, ya sure bout that bud? but zyonik is monster at reading the teams, I'm just maybe 25% of him XD
trick to that team is very simple when they bait our your charmer with either kingdra or dragonite dont charm it all the way down cause then empoleon farms a lot which flips match wait till they get u low enough but win switch.
I find that this team gets way more risky in higher ranks since everyone knows it and is prepared for it. A lot of charmers running around to counter the dragons and Umb XL.
One of the most famous team right now, toxicroak lapras snorlax can sweep this team easily. I used snorlax instead of empoleon, and had no chance at all to win the toxicroak, lapras, snorlax team
This team Is real good I used it before kingdra is a good ss it can lure out the counters if empoleon is low or dies 23:34 Yaa if the charmer isn’t lured out that’ll be a nightmare for double dragon if empoleon is out of the picture
Wondering if dragon breath Charizard is a better closer than dragonite... Also better counter against the double charm... It all depends on what is in the back by my experience
I have a Shadow Dragonite with an Ultra League rank of 95% (frustration has been removed) and a regular one at 96% Ultra League rank. Which one would you suggest I use?
I ran this team last season I was satisfied with it in first but then I met lot of togekiss or even venusaur is little problem and kingdra is horrible to get charge move so i switch kingdra to XL umbreon and lead with dragonite and works fine with me now.
I thought something spicy was comming xD. Wanna beat this? Here: Shadow machamp, magnezone and drifblim. I've won every single match against this double dragon team. It has some problems with leading gengar teams, but in general does ok
I am new to Pogo League battling and I thought IV's were super important but in a lot of your videos I see pokemons like Empoleon having a 0 IV's stat but it still performs well.. Are IV's less important then I thought?
if a mon has for example: attack 0 defense 15 HP 15 when its's pushed to 1500 or 2500 it will have little less attacking damage but much more defense and HP. Like 6 less in attacking, therefor 6 more def. and 6 more HP. Having more def and HP gives you the chance to get to more charge moves
I played this team last week. Never had so much struggle im the gbl. Almost all my opponents had charmer im the back. Or even worse: gardevoir and clefable! I lost so much elo
