I’m glad JJ is being hard on himself cause it makes him push harder! I honestly believe his music is typically overrated, but he has a few KILLER songs! I feel like he typically does the best when he has good singers for the chorus! I remember when I saw he was releasing a song with Future, and 21 savage, I was so hype, but I was INSANELY disappointed…songs like Don’t Play, Patience, Really Love are just bangers! He definitely is right about how his production value has skyrocketed with each release! There are so many people who hype him up too much for his music, but he seems aware enough to understand that he still needs to improve to actually survive as an artist outside of his celebrity status…and he pretty much constantly does!

JJ needs to understand that his songs don’t have to be hype songs in order to be great. I think ‘Pull Up’ is one of your best songs lyrically and production wise and it would easily go in Reload It!. I always enjoy these types of videos because it shows his progress as a musical artist as well as being able to have a more critical mind when it comes to music as he is able to step back and view it as both a fan and a musician, so its interesting to see his reactions to songs he was very into at first, but he now views them in a different way, a more professional way I suppose. I'm even surprised by some of his choices because he sometimes is very critical and looks at it mainly from a professional standpoint and not so much from just how the vibe of a song feels, which is another interesting and I guess more psychological viewpoint that can be discussed about him and how he was doing music for fun and because he liked it at first, he still did those songs that he doesn't really enjoy anymore, whereas now, as he said, he can just tell when a song will probably be enjoyed by most people and he wants it to be good overall, from his initial idea for it all through production and the end result, so its a completely different mindset which is interesting. Of course the obvious reason for this is him getting more mature, but there are a lot of other factors and things to discuss about it, but I don't want to make this comment any longer than it already is. So yeah, a very fun and interesting video to watch :)
