The executive producer is Yang Hyunsuk (YG himself). He is a member of Seo Taji and Boys, the group that laid the foundation of what we now know as KPop. His legendary group disbanded in 1996 and in 1997 he founded YG Entertainment which rose to become one of KPop's largest and leading companies known as one of "The Big 3" (along with SM and JYP). YG has spearheaded the formation of KPop's biggest and most popular groups... groups that broke down barriers bringing KPop outside Korea, first in Asia and then all over the world. YG's groups (idol groups formed in YG) are BIGBANG, 2NE1, WINNER, iKON, BLACKPINK, TREASURE and now the latest group that will make a debut is BABY MONSTER.

8:19 he is YG. He was also a rapper in Seo Taji and Boys, one of the most influencial groups in the early days of kpop. Also that is the reason why YG Ent. has a background in hiphop and are considered a hiphop powerhouse in kpop, since the founder (guy in the cap) was himself a rapper. He is the mind behind many great groups, tho he usually is known for being really strict as a "judge", whoch make fans kinda surprused that he was being so nice. Most likely it is a mix of the trainees being really young and him having 2 kids that are almost the same age of the younger members. Or maybe is because this is a presentatio and they just didnt want to show that side in these particualr videos. Now, he is not strict just to be mean, he knows how ruthless the industry is, and usually fans trust that YG artists might have a thicker skin thanks to that system. And usually you might see him being even more strict with trainees that he believes have more potential. And in the end, for him, that is the key word: potential. Quite a few times he made decisions not based on what he was seeing at the moment but rather on the potential he saw in a trainee. I feel it kinda has to be that way in order to get so many legendary groups like they have.

My bias is Ahyeon and bias wrecker is Chiquita. Also we most certainly will not see “love life”. Kpop dating it a taboo and even a way in which groups fall off because fans leave.

Honestly each of them can go solo. And be great but, u need to still watch the other episodes the last evaluations 1.2,3, and 4 … and you will get the jest how they all fit in a group. YG (the man in cap speaking all the time. He is the founder of YG) is bloody brilliant.
