I was in a relationship exactly the same as Mandi & Anna. He was super wealthy, always got me extravagant gifts, and I relied on him to buy me basically everything I owned. But the relationship was so so toxic, I relate to every single story time these two do. Even down to the whole no posting each other issue. I questioned if we should break up for years. I always wondered if I could see myself marrying him & had so many reservations. We ended up breaking up just before our 5 year anniversary. The only thing I can say is I wish it happened sooner. Anna and Mandi you clearly have so many doubts + reservations. Instead of breaking up 1,2,3,4,5 years down the line, do it now.

One thing I want to say is if your boyfriend is posting his friends on Instagram/social media but won't post you, that is a major red flag for me. People can have excuses such as 'oh I'm a private person' or 'oh I don't want evil eye', but if they're going out of their way to post their friends?? I think that's weird. Mandi I feel if that's creating a bit of insecurity for you, it's for a reason. Listen to your gut guys, I really think you beautiful ladies deserve way better partners (taking in multiple things you've talked about over loads of different episodes)

I don't think I've ever met someone in my culture share their boyfriend/girlfriend on their social media until they got engaged. I think that's normal in most non-western cultures haha x) And honestly, I feel like more younger people don't want to share their relationship on social media 'cause of nazar anyways...
my boyfriend has no posts - he does not post ever - he only follows men followers and only has male followers, i’m his profile pic and i made it clear being posted is nice and even tho he has no posts would never post anything every month he’ll post me, on my birthday he’ll post me on anniversary etc and i think it’s so sweet he makes the effort even tho it’s out of his comfort zone
Love this episode 💕🥹 I personally only ever posted my husband once (on our wedding day) and some girls who know me tried to follow him literally the same day😭. He asked me who these people were and I realized there is just weird bitches that just want to keep tabs on me. The constant eyes on us made me feel some type of way because I truly believe evil eye is real. Longish comment soz but.. me and my ex had the most PERFECT relationship. He doesnt have insta but he had FB and was always on it. He never posted me or even spoke to me on it but the relationship was so perfect that I didnt question it. Anyway, a week before christmas, he pulled the rug from my feet and left me (he cheated). The truth is you wouldn't dream of saying something like this to a person you love and/or care about. It's natural to want to be and give the best to people we truly TRULY value. I definitely think it's red flag behaviour if one doesn't wanna post their partner. You're meant to be happy, in love, proud of your partner. Why would you go to lengths to hide that on socials?! To chime in with the posting relationships on social media topic, although i understand & agree w/your red flag/ green flag throughts, I personally think the security of ones relationship with their partner should be established firstly outside of social media. But my opinion comes from someone whose not a social media person so I personally don't look at posting ones partner as a form of reassurance. I choose to keep that private But that's not to say if you like to share those moments and your partner is deliberately trying to avoid coming out each time then that may be an initial red flag that should be discussed. But always remember to respect ones wishes and don't let social media get in the way, you have nothing to proof to social media when you know what you have❤

My ex bf who I was with for two years he probably posted me like twice but i wasn't on any of his social media or anything and we would have arguments about it because it played on my mind, and then i found out he was messaging other girls through out the whole time we was together so i do really believe boys don't post so they can have that option to message others, and now he posts his new gf everywhere. So i find it a massive red flag. But its a hard one because some people generally dont want to post on socials but not even having a random insta strory once in a while to show u off does make you over think it .

I’ve gotta tell you my take on this and I am not trying to hate at all, I’ve actually never left a comment like this on a platform ever, but i hope you read this. Although you’ve got the most beautiful and funniest personalities, i do think sometimes toning it down isn’t a bad thing. I understand that at first you will be defensive and say « i don’t want someone that changes me » but don’t think of it that way. Look at it as self growth and don’t compare yourselves to other girls that might be way out there, or any girl. I wouldn’t want to see you guys hurt or loosing your relationship because of this. I live together with my bf and we didn’t post each other but then I noticed that while from my stories you can see I am on a date/not alone (his hand is visible etc) he would post pictures from our time together deliberately in a way that doesn’t show any evidence of other person there. I found it weird to so I started asking if he will be uploading another post from out travels with no signs of going there with me. He recently posted first post where I am fully visible in one picture out of several and this post got record low number of likes from his friends. Not sure what to make of it

My boyfriend and I don't post eachother. He doesn't post at all actually. I also go out of my way not to post him and we both are fine with it. I think that I am going to post him when we are married. I don't like other people, who I'm not that close with, to see if I'm with someone. And when I dont post him for quite a while, for them to speculate that we broke up. I personally like to keep it lowkey. I've experienced situations where my friends noticed that other girls dont post their boyfriends anymore and they talk about it behind their back. I assume that a lot of girls are like this, and I dont mind that. But that is the main reason why I like to keep my relationship off social media.

Just wondering why you want to post your private life on social media? Just take pictures make memories and put them in frames around your home. I don’t think posting your relationship and publicising your relationship won’t make your relationship any more successful. It’s a personal preference but also how secure you feel. If you’re feeling some kind of way about it, your partner will and should care enough to validate how you feel. but the key issue is those who act as if they’re available when they’re not. Also other people can just create burner accounts even if they publish their relationship and live a whole Hannah Montana life. It’s a mad world out there. pick your favourite trash and stick to it (only kidding 😹) but just remember grass is never greener.
