I like your way of saying artistic worship, I have yet to have heard that phrase, and it fits your stuff and also the way of Celestine chapel ceiling, just different ways to reflect on and reflect God. Different ways of studying God, as it turns verbal communication into visual communication.

My first Bible was a Precious Moments Bible too! I was born in 2004 and my mom got me that Bible when I was a baby. I still have that Bible and the case it came with that matches it. It’s a Bible I was always cherish ❤️ I enjoyed watching your Bible collection!

I think Mom and Dad gave us those precious moments Bibles in our Easter baskets one year. Mom has a picture somewhere I think. And Joe scratching out your answer 😂

I remember wrapping textbooks in kraft paper. If you were 12 in 1993 I'm just a hair older than you. 😜 Funny that you mention growing up United Methodist - so did I, and I actually still am one. You know what they say about a Bible that's falling apart... 😜 I think a lot of people tend to stick with the translation they're used to. It's why for a long time I used a mix of KJV and NRSV (I've since rejected the NRSV to prefer more "evangelical" translations; most of my bibles are KJV anymore though I'm not chained to it). My first bible was given me by my dad when I was 7, was a large-print Nelson KJV.

So your grandma prayer book is called a Missal book or Mass book. I am raised Protestant and have been taught about the Catholic faith ways too.

I came here to say the same thing. I was raised Catholic and just recently converted. A Missal Book is carried to church every week and contains the mass from beginning to end. A Prayer Book, like the one you have, would have been handled more frequently, possibly daily, as it contains prayers that should be recited each day. They are quite special and usually handed down. The cards are given at commemorative events and funerals. They are often kept as keepsakes. These are all such special pieces! ❤

I love reading my bibles as well taking notes I have a king James bible and a Catholic life Bible as well can I write it with a regular pen 🖊️ or a regular pencil ✏️

I had the same Teen Study Bible, but it was paperback, and I LOVED it. I don't know what I did with it. I probably donated it at some point. I wish I still had it.

I see you have Faith a Life’s Cliff Notes. I have them, too. I use them for the first page of each book in the digital Bible I created - just for me as I’m no tech expert.

Yes! I have them in my religion folder in Goodnotes on my iPad, but I didn’t think to add them to the beginning of each book in my digital Bible! Such a great idea! I’ve also been printing them and adding them into my journaling Bible too. I loved Faith’s resources. 😊
